It should not needed to have been said, but don't post or request for restreams. Also, don't come in here exclusively to whine about PPV.

We got some great games today, but it did leave me wanting more in terms of the actual production. On another note: I guess Ret taking Demuslim under his wing paid off! ;o "You can be my wing man anytime." "No, no. YOU can be my wing man."

Sheth, Nestea, Socke, DeMuslim, Thorzain, theStC, DRG, and MVP. That would be 9 Koreans and 7 foreigners. Ganzi, Losira and San are the 3 Koreans I see not making it to the top 16.

Player Linup: 10/10 Quality of Games Played: 9/10 Overall production value: 6/10 Will I buy this kind of pass again? Probably not. I enjoyed it, but it was definitely not a high-production event, and no where close to the quality of any of the previous MLG's bar the very first (which flopped). Not having the crowd or an audience, and not having any space for even press etc . . . this was a 'homestory cup' with good players but without the comfortable atmosphere. So overall, great Starcraft play from great players, enjoyed the games and the casters, but not worth being PPV in the future. The production value has been great, what are you talking about? Crowd and Press =/= Production. As far as "no comfortable atmosphere" it looks pretty comfortable to me... I would definitely buy this again. Understandable to have differing opinions on this. Production value to me includes the intensity, excitement and pressure of having a large live audience, lots of interviews, cameras, fan-reaction/interaction etc. The "it" factor as another poster mentioned. I gave MLG 6/10 for having above average production with high quality streams. However it didn't go far above the minimum standards in my book (i.e. any tournament can set up cameras in a home office, pack players into a waiting room and show good games). All respect for MLG and those who would buy again, I'm just sharing my thoughts on what I value and that I don't think this type of production (even as it is a wonderful player linup) is worthy of PPV. I don't regret my decision to buy, but it helped me to understand that this is not the type of event I will be paying for in the future!

Overall it's been pretty good. Login problems happened a little bit but after logging in six times over the five streams it was fine. I do hope people who didn't pay were actually being paywalled and not able to watch no problem as people were saying in the thread. VODs weren't up "20 minutes after a game ended" but being up at the end of the day was fine, still pretty sharp. We won't have any downtime, well, sorry but there was downtime. Yes there may have been one or two streams with casters chatting on but fairly often there were times with no matches happening and around two streams simply chucking up a "coming up next" plate. Dr Pepper All Access Stream. Hmm, more like the access almost nothing stream. Yes there were SOME interviews but it consisted mainly of just showing people on couches in a room watches the main stream. If, as they stated, they were trying to recreate the HSC type feel on this stream they failed I'm afraid. Here's hoping to a better day 2! (Games and everything were still fantastic though, no lag on 1080p etc etc, I'm not really complaining but just pointing out areas where MLG didn't deliver on their promises)

Just wanted to comment real quick on the login issues some people saw today. We think it's fixed. You should be able to login to each stream once now and it will remain logged in. Also, Gameplay 1 will no longer crash. I would love to see if it's working for everyone else before we get going tomorrow, so feel free to hop on and confirm. Thanks! http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/live

Ganzi, Losira and San are the 3 Koreans I see not making it to the top 16. I think that's a pretty solid prediction. I'll be reasonably happy if it plays out that way. Overall I thought it was a pretty good draw. Lots of entertaining matches. I initially thought MKP was a bit stiff to catch Losira in the first round considering how much Losira has controlled their games in recent times. Sure didn't turn out that way ![]()

As far as the VOD's being up, I still cannot access the round 2 ones. Also some of the VOD links went to different games... and not sure if I'm missing something but I cannot change the video quality of the VOD's so I have to wait forever for it the buffer first ![]() I wish I had your internet connection... I had to go to 360p to watch without lag and massive stuttering ![]() Para Edit: Forgot to mention that the games that I did get to watch were kickass!

I don't think you understand how jetlag works. It affects different people differently. You act as if all our bodies are perfectly, 100% identical biological machines. It's easy to sit there and propose all these different solutions to dealing with jetlag that work for you specifically, but you need to empathize and understand that those solutions don't work for everyone. I've traveled many times in my life with my family and friends, and I've seen the various different ways people deal with jetlag, and the varying efficacy of those methods on different people.
