It should not needed to have been said, but don't post or request for restreams.
Also, don't come in here exclusively to whine about PPV. |

Koreans will be pretty tired tomorrow though if they can't sleep tonight. lol. have you ever taken flights out of the country and exprienced jet lag? An educated guess would be that hes never actually experienced jet lag or changing time zones from traveling across the world. Affirmative. Then you realise how ignorant your statement is right? It was a 15hour flight. wait what? i was agreeing with the guy above me.
Sorry i read vn at the start of your name and saw his and my brain had a meltdown. 5:50am here. That's my excuse.

dude noone is saying that. it's obvious all the players from Korea were very tired. MC and STC were even sleeping on the couches in the lounge.

wow tons of upset! I am surprised DeMuslim and Ret are so good!
meanwhile, IdrA should take a page out of DeMuslim and Ret's book

MC might win this event because he seems to thrive in these condensed format marathon tournaments. He suffers from jetlag, but not as much as other players seem to so that's another advantage of his.
Of course, that could just be MC's strategy of napping the entire event and only waking up to eat and play his games. Maybe he figured out that napping constantly helps him overcome jetlag.

When I travel and get jetlagged, it's not that I don't want to sleep - I lie in bed all night trying to, but sometimes, sleep just doesn't come. You're basically saying "There's no excuse for something that's impossible to control". Think about how silly that sounds.

I might not be able to resist buying after seeing these results, even though I'll only be able to fully watch day 3, and see maybe a few hours of day 2...
|
What's the schedule of games tomorrow? What games will get played Sunday?
|
Here's a thing that i really miss and would improve things for a lot of people. I live in Sweden and as you may know Sweden is in a different timezone. Converting timezones can be a pain in the ass and leaves you to ask silly questions in the chat. This could be easily fixed if you would include a clock that shows the local time. It could be placed in the top bar in the Twitch UI.

Do iT!!!!!!!!!!! totally worth it. And I wont even be watching most of the games tomorrow cause I have plans. But championship sunday will be worth it!

I think the favorite is actually MKP in the Winners bracket. I'm convinced that he's one of the most talented players around. He will confirm that to me this week-end.

ROFL Artosis was like "It's only fitting that Dual Sight is our last map as all of us are seeing double right now"
they should have their own stand-up lol XD

Some really good match up really and must be nice if you're cheering for a non korean because one of them is guarantee'd top 4 For me, I'm just going to personally wait until the championships at Columbus before spending mine xD

Uh I travel from US to VN, which is similar to Korea > US travel. It's pretty clear you guys are the ones who don't know what you're talking about. Yes the flight is long, yes you sleep on the plane. But for DRG it's 2pm and he's wide awake because he came from Korean time zone. That's not even an excuse because his opponent, Parting, also came from Korea?
The jetlag is what will happen now that NY is night-time and Koreans can't sleep.

Yea totally worth the price for what we've seen today, except for the fact that there's the possibilty to watch the entire event for free from twitch.tv website itself without having to do anything. I do hope they fix their authentication system, because as it is right now, it's actually pretty embarassing and disrespectful to those who actually paid the money to watch it, instead of just opening the webpage (lol).

There are things you can do to decrease it.

Some really good games today at MLG. My review of the event . . .
Player Linup: 10/10
Quality of Games Played: 9/10
Overall production value: 6/10
Will I buy this kind of pass again? Probably not. I enjoyed it, but it was definitely not a high-production event, and no where close to the quality of any of the previous MLG's bar the very first (which flopped). Not having the crowd or an audience, and not having any space for even press etc . . . this was a 'homestory cup' with good players but without the comfortable atmosphere.
So overall, great Starcraft play from great players, enjoyed the games and the casters, but not worth being PPV in the future.

Voted yes on korean top 4, because all best forgeiners are at Assembly.

The players were great for a non-championship tournament for MLG The quality of the games were great! I liked the new features (well apparently), but for a tournament, you need the crowds, you need the booths, you need the "it" factor. The people brings an extra element/dimension to the tournament and games.

Crowd and Press =/= Production.
As far as "no comfortable atmosphere" it looks pretty comfortable to me...
I would definitely buy this again.
