It should not needed to have been said, but don't post or request for restreams.
Also, don't come in here exclusively to whine about PPV. |

Really can't see Idra beating OZ, we'll have to see how far he can make it in the losers bracket. As for HuK I expect him to go 2-0, till he meets MVP, then just hope for the best lol.

I caved and bought the pass. At the end of the day, MLG had fantastic tournaments last year and $20(£12) for me means maybe I don't buy that extra multipack of cans of coke this week. Except I still bought them, because I need them to keep me awake tonight :D

Bought the pass, this MLG is just going to be too sick to miss, and Asus ROG is really sucking.
|
I may not be able to see the first match live, which I understand is free, so does anyone know if the instant vod will apply for that too? I just want to see what it's like before paying.
|
Could anyone explain to me, how much of the content is limited to those who buy a ticket?
Really can't spare 20 bucks right now but I'd loathe to miss an MLG.

You will have access to the first games of the day, and the free Dr. Pepper stream.
People with tickets have access to all 5 streams in HD, ad-free, and immediate access to VODs right after the games are played.
All VODs are released free a week later.

90% of the content is completely for those who bought a ticket.
The 10% that is free: the first match (I think) of each day.
The 'Dr. Pepper Channel' which I don't think has any matches shown but shows other content (interviews, etc.?).
^ To my knowledge.

Really can't spare 20 bucks right now but I'd loathe to miss an MLG. If you buy it, you get 4 constant streams of gameplay for 20 hrs and instant VoD. If you don't have it, there is that Dr Pepper free stream with no gameplay, and all VoD is free after 1 week, and the first match of each day is free.

Really can't spare 20 bucks right now but I'd loathe to miss an MLG. All games are limited to the people that pay except the first games as a teaser. The only free content is the dr.pepper stream (or whatever its called) with players lounge and such.
Doh! Ninjad.

If i buy the pass, will I be able to share with a few select friends?

Any details on the DR. Pepper Stream?
Like - on casters and such?

Hmm, what does the "first games" mean exactly? The first BO3 for today seems to be Foxer vs Losira, so everyone gets to watch that whole BO3 for free, or only the first game?

They say it will be HomeStory Cup-ish. No idea what else.

Ok thanks, thought so. (just wanted to make sure)
I won't be home all weekend, so I guess when I'm not home, I'll let my friends log on..

and I really didn't want to pay for this, but looking at the list of players, it's like a junior GSL. Hard to resist...
