Finals Bracket starts at 5pm
Based on the February event, we REALLY need to start on time.
Qual Brackets:
Bronze + Silver
Gold + Plat
Diamond
Top 4 places from each Qual Bracket will move on to the Final Bracket
Top 2 places will split 33% of the Qual Bracket Entry Money
Final Bracket:
Masters+ Grand Masters + Top placers from Qual Brackets
Top 3 places will split balance of Prize Pool money 60%, 30%, 10%
We are looking for someone to Live Stream this event!!!

Hello, well i was wondering if u could create a poll to add maps to the next event (march 17th)
and the maps ide like put in are the following:
Cloud Kingdom LE
Korhal Compound LE
GSL Bel'Shir Beach (Winter)
GSL Calm before the storm
GSL Crevasse
GSL Terminus RE
Maybe make it so the 2 player maps arent the recommended first map? That'd be awesome! well glgl!

Why does this say SEA in the title? WA is a state in Australia and both of these lead to some very confused people...

Just a heads up, SEA is typically used to advertise SOUTH EAST ASIA events, not SEAttle, heh. Might wanna avoid doing that in future.

Can not seem to edit the title... SEA is pretty common in the United States for SEATTLE (even the airport , Seattle-Tacoma or SeaTac is known as SEA.
So sorry on the confusion, but SEA is Seattle

I wouldnt say within e-sports, I would say within StarCraft maybe... But for eight years I have been doing this SEA in most communities means Seattle But then most communities are not world wide in the way SC is, or are more USA centric (Smash Bros, Halo, Street Fighter/Fighting Games, etc)
Anyway will try and be more clear in future posts

We had about 30 at the last one, can we hit 40? We have in the past... with this new format and money paid out at all stages, NO ONE in the "Seattle" area has an excuse to not show up!

MLG maps are really awful, the 2012 map pool has pretty much no new maps, riddled with stuff we know is imbalanced or just bad from 2011, and pretty much all Blizzard maps.

If you get a list of threads in the sc2 tourney section named SEA meaning South East Asia and SEA meaning SEAttle I can guarentee you there are tons more meaning the former then the latter.

This is a DOUBLE ELIM bracket system!! We also move people from top spots in lower rounds into the higher rounds.
DONT LEAVE when you lose one set or even after two sets. TALK TO ME!! Make sure you are out!!!

Over half the team lives in Seattle. (Heavens is in Texas, Golden is in Korea... except hes in Seattle atm).

Thanks for hosting, seemed like quite a bit of fun... hopefully bigger turnout next time ! Would love to see the Seattle scene growing because there's some pretty good talent there!
