The primary problem with ultralisks is 'the hydra' problem; once they've engaged it's impossible to back up because stimmed marines/marauders can just chase them down and kill them, assuming they don't evaporate on initial contact. Broodlords may not be speedy, but they can at least fly and proper positioning makes them hard to attack. Positioning ultralisks properly just makes them bad instead of the equivalent of playing russian roulette with 6 bullets in the gun. | ||

They are not mobile, but thats their one "advantage" compared to broodlords... | ||
