Nobody knows, he dropped out of the last IEM as well...

I think Killer mentioned that Fenix had visa issues.

Yeah, you'd think he'd be able to make a trip from Peru to Brazil though.

Don't think it's fair to compare a 15years old guy and a semi-professional player with the GSL players. Yes, games weren't that good but no need to shit all over them imo.

Compared to germany, yes. Nearly a 40 degree temperature difference.

Today it is ~-10 in Switzerland (near the german border).
The felt temperature due to the wind is -20°.

In Sao Paolo it's what? 35? :D

Only 3 Terrans in tournament, going to be rooting for Demuslim in his matches.
Supernova should get past group stages... I hope.

No, they're terribad. They were talking about it on Inside The Game yesterday. You don't auto-lose, but they're basically not very good at all.

9 times out of 10, when Stephano as well as most top level zergs win with Ultra's they've already won.

And Darkforce almost did throw away that game.

This is kinda true. I don't think there is a moment when you actually wish in a game that you had ultras instead of something else.

Mess with the best, die like the rest.

Darkforce was never in danger of losing that game.

By the time he finally attacked with ultralisks he had +3 attack and +5 armor on them (3/3 on everything else) and +2 attack on his mutas. illusion had +1 / +1. Although the supplies were even illusion was incredibly behind on upgrades the entire game and behind on bases. I cannot see how darkforce could possibly have lost the game.

Thing is, these two lucky bastards actually bailed europe just when it got really cold here :p i remember when it was -14 during the day over here in the netherlands and i read a tweet by Bitter that he got a sunburn on his arm because he hung it out of the car window driving around all day. Really confused me for a second till i read where he actually was lol...

Did he say that the Ultra tech was wrong? His main gripe with Darkforce that game was the pathetically low drone count he had all game

He commented that Darkforce was throwing game away when he started Ultralisk Cavern and Nydus network. Darkforce was teching up a bit risky, but by no means throwing it away. Bitter has in the past quoted destiny about Ultralisks throwing game away on several occasions. So he didn't say it explicitly, so I might have been reading too much into it, but I felt it was reasonable to make that assertion.

Darkforce has a special zerg style, while everyone goes for drones drones drones he stays on a lower count just to be save and since everyone is go attack the zerg because they outmacro you anyway, they often kill themself with either macroing to hard or attacking to risky.
About Ultra bias, its a bit like mech, alot of people play it some times but have no idea how to use it right.

I dont agree with this, they are just more situational and harder to put to good use, if they were all that terrible the best zergs in the world (the likes of DRG, Stephano etc) wouldnt use it, and successfully i might add.

Yes and no. Ultras can be really good, and they can be really bad. It depends a lot on upgrades, the engagement and on your infestor use. Ultras without well used infestor are terrible, a bunch of ultras attacking clumped up into a fortified position are bad, ultra/ling/infestor(+maybe blings) flanking someone can clean up a terran army really efficiently and put you in an awesome position to kill their expansions.

They are not really the core unit of that composition like broodlords are, it's more about the infestor imo.

The saving grace was Illusion didn't realize how few drones Darkforce was on that whole game. If he played greedier while turtling and got a faster 4th it would've been a significantly closer game. But after that opening there's no reason for their to be any chance in any scenario for Illusion to come back.
