Okay, I was defending Bitter, but that was a pretty bad prediction about Darkforce throwing game away.
I'm so tired of people propagating this silly idea that Ultralisks are bad or only throw games away, especially by zerg players.
Learn to use the unit or watch Stephano, Darkforce and countless other top level zergs use the unit properly.

TB is also guilty of using this silly saying, just because destiny said it once... sigh...

Only 3 Terrans in tournament, going to be rooting for Demuslim in his matches.
Supernova should get past group stages... I hope.

Did he say that the Ultra tech was wrong? His main gripe with Darkforce that game was the pathetically low drone count he had all game

You kidding right? 80% of today's GSL matches were successful 2 base or 1 base all ins. How is that fun to watch?
The opponent actually died to the all-ins and the games didnt drag on for 20 mins more than they should have.

Amd he was totally wrong about DF throwing that game. He played it super safe. No idea how Bitter saw an Illusion comeback there.

Did you see Parting versus Jjakji? Best games of 2012, easily.

Well, then lets watch all IEM matches before drawing conclusions. It's unfair to pick 1 out of 5 GSL matches and compare it to 1 out of 1 IEM matches.
That being said, I agree that Parting - Jjakji was pretty good.

What GSL have you been watching? The only 2 base pushes that ended the game were against Ganzi, Parting v Jjakji both times was pretty much the best PvT series so far, and the PvP was really intense as well.

Well we saw the best series of 2012.

And at least in the MC vs Ganzi games they were well exceuted all in's not two players derping all over each other and the player who made slightly less mistakes (although you could argue he made more) won.

I really hope the issues IEM Kiev suffered won't come back with a vengeance, it would be sad for the first major event in LA

The issues with Kiev had to do with the local setup. This setup will be a completely different one (different network structure, different PCs), so if we have any issues (hope not), then they definitely will be 100% different from the ones we had in Kiev.

Late now but I guess you guys tested network/internet capacity before start of event. If not then ESL/IEM learned nothing from Kiev.

Hopefully will be educational for some zergs, but I'm with you there. Having more than 60% of any one race in the tournament can make it a bit stale.

Well, that's because Protoss can warp in in opponents base. DarkForce can't rally zerglings/roaches into sieged tanks.
