Same with Alive, he had one of those sick Fnatic Steelseries headsets.

So, im really happy blizz is stepping up their shit with maps. Antiga and Entombed Valley had to be changed a touch, but they are definitely solid maps.

They aren't, the first map is known, the second and third are chosen by the loser from the map pool AFAIK.

Code A is known before

Code S is not

So last night Seeker just guessed correctly for all 20 or so maps like a week before the games were being played?

What a bad ass.

A theory for MVP could be that his wrists is hurting so much and thats why he tried some more "wrist friendly" tactics in the start, hoping that would do it, failed, and is now doing what he does best just to get through it? Its just a theory, in any case im glad to see he's playing better again

I guess Gumiho figures with MVP not playing at 100% it is time to break that 100% win rate.

Lol yeah exactly what I was saying

He still doesn't look as good as he normally does. IMO.

Right, but you can't expect him to look top form after going 0-2 against who he thought was the weakest player in ro16. The fact that he didn't just fall apart is good enough to me, just watch after he gets some rest and a new frame of mind in the ro8

Stacking your marines nicely at the mineral line so it takes seemingly infinity lings to kill 8 marines and spreading marines out nicely so banelings dont kill them cost effectively are some the small things terran player can do to push their racial advantage against zerg further. But, what can skilled zerg players do to counter these, other than just throwing units extremely non cost effectively against them?

If you have the APM i recommend you to place some spines/spores at your 3rd and main as well as 5-6 lings and a bane... this should be able to clean up a single drop so you can actually focus on killing the main army.

Nice advice, once against more extremely non cost efficient solutions. Spines only stalls time. Mvp did take out 3 spines just now at the 3rd without losing anything. When the lings and banes came, he just loaded up and waited at the edge.

It's like someone is asking what to do to counter a single seige tank firing at your base and you're suggesting broodlords.

Ok, i think you are aware that a Marinedrop is/can be the most cost-effecient damage-dealer in the game. Get in, deal damage, get out. Sure it's nice for Zergis to pick drops with mutas, but the ball is way more effecte harrasing Terran's bases or zoning the army. Zerg mechanics rely on winning through map-control and out-macroing. So it doesn't matter all to much to invest like 200-300mins if you can keep your 3-4 bases running while your ahead...that's why your question is kind of going in the wrong direction, because Terran is for sure the most cost-effective race in the game.

Yeah, I don't know for today, but I'm convinced he goes for mech more often than the others because of his wrists.

Absolutely, people are quick to rag on blizzard for their terrible maps, but you can't deny that Antiga and in a lesser way Entombed Valley are pretty solid tournament maps.
