Gumiho is 11th ranked ELO and one of the best Terran's in the world... you guys are acting like he lost to a masters player or something. gg

Gumiho has a notoriously bad TvT (winrate below 40%). MMA autopiloted to making him look like a scrub in ro32. MVP should have won, if he's the so called best player in the world.

Gumiho played like shit in Ro32 and he said so. People do get better at a matchup as he played really good MMM vs mvp here =/

Yea, gumiho played very bad for his standards vs MMA, and MVP played even worse for his own in this match.
I like the part where sense is considered a common, settled thing.

Oh well T.T

I have MVP and Gumiho getting out of the group (which hopefully happens).

Ya but so is charmeleon but you have to deal with it to get blastiose.

Difference is Charmeleon > Charizard where blastiose is basically overpowered

Charizard as a whole was better than Blastoise.

No it is not due to stealth rock. At least Blastoise has a reliable role as a rapid spinner on your team and is the most used pokemon when it comes to beating Red / Blue (TAS don't count)

I can believe that soley because charmander was a pain to use a starter for the first couple hours.

Also is MVP seriously about to lose right now?

Actually he is the best starter at the start of the game but worse as the game goes on...

First 3 gyms = rock, water, lightning

I disagree. Good luck killing an onyx easily with ember

First 3 areas = Bug Bug Bug.

Also charmander has the highest attack value of the three starters on top of type advantage giving him the level bonus to crush onyx easy enough.
Only reason to get Charmander is if you don't get Nidoqueen(prefered)/Primeape for the 3rd/4th/5th/ gyms.

i always got charmander. no questions asked.

The only time I didnt was when I got other couple starters so I could trade them to my perfect 151 red game (with a level 127 snorlax).

i honestly am not suprised

i believe all koreans that get to this level and take progaming seriously have insane potential since theyve already made it this far it means theyve got "it"

all the players in code S right now have "it" imo, so it comes down to practice environment. and im sure IM has a great practice environment but IMO it seems like the past 3-4 weeks FXO has had the best practice house in the top sc2 scene and most of the FXO guys are just tearing stuff apart right now

i expected MVP to lose honestly just based off the insane performance of FXO in the past 4weeks everywhere i see um

There's just little some something in FXO.

It's funny, because kpop groups are even more generic and manufactured than Nickelback and yet people love them, yet hate Nickelback O_O

I can't tell if you're trolling or you just really dislike k-pop... Because I can understand if you don't like k-pop.

I had a chuckle at that too.
There are some economics behind this we don't see, all the pictures were clearly of foreign bar crafts, which GOM has not made any public statements against. Only Korean barcrafts have caused them concern for some reason.

You have to catch other pokemon though to make up for your awful starter though which then splits your strength too much to be worth while against the elite four

leveled a butterfree for brock, then pikachu (i waste so much time every time searching for one in viridean forest) and a few captured oddishes/bellsprouts for misty. after that, train charizard only.

Sigh... He was outside GuMiHo's door with 10-20 more supply and a Raven to get off a PDD against the 'rauders / Vikings and slunk off home...

This is not MVP

Well, shockingly Gumiho actually had the Viking advantage, Gumiho could take the fight out of PDDs area of influence.

I feel once, MVP turned back from that first push, he was fighting a losing battle from then on, of course, Gumiho did good with his mobility.

I know GuMiHo had more Vikings but MVP was only JUST behind in Viking count. He had a few marines of his own adn could have won a fight if he didn't drop the PDD so far away from GuMiHo's base.

And then yeah, as you said, went home, was a base down and then got totally picked apart. Trying to get 25 SCVs to kill 8 or so vikings... I just... have no words
