I do agree that others are getting very close skill-wise, but have patience, results will sort themselves longterm and we will see who is the best. Pretty sure flash hasn't won every tournament he has entered and nobody is doubting his skill

BTW IdrA is streaming lets go watch him and I wasn't convinced by the quality of any of the games to be honest. If anything, this was MVP playing at Gumiho's level instead of Gumiho playing at how MVP played end of last year. It wasn't a bad series, but it wasn't the TvT we are used to seeing from MVP back in the GomTvTvTvT days.

He hasn't won anything in a long long time. holla WCG Korea? WCG? What exactly is a "long" time Yesterday. If you ask me, I think MMA is the only person who has won anything lately so he's the best player. This of course ignores HSCIV, IEM, KSL, Korean Weeklies, team leagues and the tens of other tournaments played this month alone. Yeaaaaah. That said, I do think MVP is slipping this month. Still, best player in the world. Though I think MMA is fast approaching the throne, but we'll know more tomorrow when he comes up against the in form Supernova and SlayerS weakest MU - SlayerSvP EDIT: ItsMeDomLee may I ask you, what bad results, aside from today, has he had? All those 1st, 2nd and 4th places? MMA won all those too. I'm not saying MVP is bad. Everybody seems to be misunderstanding it. At worst, he's second. I think most people think he's the best probably because he's more consistent and solid (in terms of playstyle) than MMA, who's got a more exciting and scrappy style. Today's performance was just uncharacteristic of him. Shaky and filled with many errors we don't see him usually make.

Hope he makes it back next season though. Fionn/Artosis curse strikes back. If there was a fantasy league this season this would've been useful to remember.

Also taking into consideration he lost those 4 barracks but still he was floating like 2k minerals or so. I think MVP has fallen in skill or other players have surpassed caught up to him. Take it with a grain of salt if u must but its clearly showing in his play.

And good macro is not always keeping your minerals and gas low. Having bank is a good thing.

His macro didn't really slip, he just could not trade efficiently, having a bank against mech is good (as long as the mech player's army is far from your bases). TvMech is a bit like TvP against turtle protoss, except that the terran has vikings to shut down harass and can harass with blue flame hellion lol.
