And I have to clarify that I really don't like the move Stephano pulled. How is it unfair? He didnt earn 2nd yet...he would have had to lose to kas, who he decided not to play. He should get no money tbqh. That's simply not true. Winning the halffinale not only qualifies him for a chance at the first, it means he is at least 2nd. He won against somebody who had the same chance for 2nd OR 1st. You don't earn 2nd place by losing the final. What? No they don't have to give stephano anything if they choose to. It's their tournament and stephano signed to PLAY not to forfeit. If they don't have a finale cause stephano is too tired wah wah wah, then they lose viewers and look bad. Therefore if anything stephano actions harm ONOG reputation if they don't have a finals and give 2nd to stephano. If he didn't want to be up for the finals he shouldn't of even began to play the tournament Technically yes, since one can be disqualified at any time for any reason upon organizer judgment. However, it is still a gray area of proportionality, since all Stephano did was a regular forfeit- which in most established tournament structures is a legal move to take for a player. Can't remember seeing any other sport where a player forfeited the Grand Finals.
Still you won't get punished for forfeiting by principle

Apparently he was tired.. the id got skillz but he's a primadona.. he'll never make it to the top. imagine Djokovich or Nadal doing that yesterday after playing close to 6 hours.

lol the joke is in the actual incorrect use of wordage. xenophobia is the fear of foreigners/strangers.

Peanuts, arguing over semantics? Wasting everyone's time, go read the dictionary, that's a more valuable use of time. The point isn't to decide which word is mots accurate describing the behavior, but whether it was wrong or not. It was very wrong.

Well, you can say considering the last 2 matches have yet to be played, he's unable to fulfill the obligations for any placing higher than 4th. It's pretty fair, and most importantly, keeps the tournament going on.

Its certainly prejudiced but not racist.. people are so quick to throw that accusation around these days in North America and Europe..

and yet nearly none of those games were casted, goes to show how well that tournament was planned

Kinda doubt a sport athlete wouldn't be punished if he refused to play the grand finals because he didn't want to. In one way or another.

You can't blame ONOG when Stephano presumably agreed to their situation. When push came to shove though, he just said fuck it and that's all you can really say about that.
