I even voted for him as two of those who would advance -- I chose fOrGG and Supernova since I thought MC would be hella jetlagged and Leenock's not been putting up results (though I got the initial Supernova > MC and Leenock > fOrGG right ^^; ) -- but I'm happy with the results. I swear that fOrGG sucked out all of Supernova's hype; while fOrGG has accomplished nothing noteworthy, Supernova's been doing so well lately. ![]() EDIT: This is the only time I'll ever break Top 10 in LB, lulz. what...huh? I'm confused... do you watch GSL? I think he meant Leenock is now suffering the Second Place Curse.

Its clear he's got the bw mindset that mechanics >>> strategy and thats not the case for sc2. I really wish people would stop using the "i watched his stream" excuse for so many players. Guess what, on stream/ladder you can get away with so much and fight a lot lower competition. It's simply not compareable. Yeah, people watched Aria via a replay and were dead certain that he was a former BW A teamer learning the game. And it turns out he was just an SC2 amateur. Just saying: I watch him play, he has the best mechanics is not an argument at all.

As for GSL, this year seems like a bad start: 1) i have been buying tickets last year, not every month but when i had enough time, i would buy a season ticket (9.99$), now prices are increased for the same kind of ticket (14.99$) AND there are problems with payments, as of now i'm missing my money (i already asked a refund) and never got access to the hq stream 2) no kpop and nothing to substitute kpop (if they wanted a more western music genre i could understand, but removing it and replacing it with replays from the day before is just cheap) 3) casters have standard clothing, which is far too formal, it's like they're going to discuss their doctorate thesis 4) they invited idra to make more audience, but he didn't really deserve the spot in code s given his latest results - this is about esports and competition, not about making 5-10% audience more for extra money I think GSL needs a serious competitor, monopolies always end badly.

Leenock is almost always involved in making some of the best matches in SC2 whereas MC is one of the most predictable and boring players on the scene (i.e. 2 base all-in king, as he proved again to take out Leenock). Oh well, at least we get to watch Leenock in code A :\

MC vs PuMa NASL finals MC vs thorzain etc. And if anything Leenock is extremely predictable, at least in ZvP. He cheeses all the time, more than MC does.

But his macro i would wager is best out of all current protoss pro's. He has had some glorious PvT's

If people actually watched the stream you would of seen him rip apart code s level pros with pure mechanics. Yeah guys keep ignoring the fact that forgg got to code s on his first try with less than a year of play time and much less time playing on a pro team. Still zero logic coming from the ignorant haters

But his macro i would wager is best out of all current protoss pro's. He has had some glorious PvT's He is the king of 2 bases timing because is unit control is soooooo good that he manage to make all-ins work the way noone else would do. When I saw him all-in leenock, I was like : if it weren't MC, the protoss loose this 100%, but well it's MC so I guess he will win :D. And on the other hand, while his all-in are deadly, his macro game is one of the best in the world. That's why you just can't go vs MC thinking that he will all-in you for sure and you can play safer and win. That's why he's good, I think half of his wins are all-in/heavy pressure (but if you look closely it's the case for most good players, MVP likes to cheese too) but the simple matter of fact that the other half isn't make him really hard to play against. That's pretty much why he's won 2 GSL titles while only one other protoss have ever reached the final (and got badly demolished).

I'm exaggerating a bit but you get the point.

After seeing that first game though surprised Leenock didn't make it through. I mean thank god MC made it but Leenock looked really really good in that first game.
