hopefully they meet at assembly so both are playing in same conditions

That I would like to see as well because I don't believe polt would lose to stephano when both are playing under the same conditions.

You won't find me disagreeing that they should meet on an even battlefield! My only complaint is on the STYLE of games, which (for me) affects the quality of them. Not on the quality of Polt as a player.

Also, yes... I am a Stephano fanboy. So what?

I'm not so sure. TvZ is arguably Polt's weakest matchup.

Either way, I think even the most diehard Korean fans accept by now that Stephano is around the level of upper-middle tier Korean progamers (i.e. guys like Taeja, Alive, Keen, Ryung, etc.). No shame in Polt losing, especially cross-server.

No, he's like low tier Kor progamer, like IdrA, Morrow, Kas, etc, They are all around people like "avenge's" level

Taeja, alive, Keen and Ryung are far above all foreigners

No, we haven't. You saw a Polt at 7:39 AM playing with the ridiculous KR->EU lag barely lose 3-2 to a foreigner warmed up from todays cups, playing on his own server for no latency, feet resting in his team house.

Lag is 500ms max. If lag was that much high Polt would never played in european cup.

lol yeah.. only 500ms.
I don't know if you realize how hard it is to play with 500ms.

well it will only depends on the mapool I think, shattered and metaloplis air close position are highly terran favour (and we have seen this clearly in their games). its quite harsh to say Stephano would have zero chances to win.

I know it takes like 5 clicks to micro zerg (dropping units around the army, target units with baneling, throw fungal)

But you actually have to target fire with tanks and split to get away from fungal as terran

Well Stephano is a class above IdrA Morrow or Kas atm, he shows it every second day...
I don't know where that puts him on a Korean ladder, but upper-middle tier Korean pros sounds fine And it's more or less backed up by his results at the GSL Blizz Cup and on the ladder in Korea, high tier koreans give him a rough time (MVP, MC) but he is more or less even against many others.

i get your point but.....no.
Stephano is vastly superior to idra, morrow and kas,as for his level compared to koreans, without taking his kr ladder time into consideration(where he proved he could easily win but eh thats ladder),the only tournament we can observe is blizzard cup:
won vs hero and drg, lost vs mc and mvp.
that clearly points towards upper-middle tier.
oh btw,kas is also better than idra.

Stephano wasn't playing great, but it was nice to see him with a lot of different openings. Ling+infestor, roach, muta. It will make it much harder for his opponents in the future.

I actually don't rate ryung that high myself. I've been calling him the Inca of terran for a long time cause he's a TvT specialist to me. His TvZ is nothing special as I remember him playing pretty bad against july zerg. His TvP relies on 1-1-1 timings like puma and I remember him playing ridiculous 20 min 1 base games against Puzzle.

Don t worry Stephano is not Dumb. He knows what kind of victory this is. Live from his Twitter :

MillStephano
Went 3-2 against Polt for the eizo cup, even if he played from korea on eu serv, it's still a small victory !

hopefully they meet at assembly so both are playing in same conditions

That I would like to see as well because I don't believe polt would lose to stephano when both are playing under the same conditions.

EX 1: Taeja vs IdrA

I actually don't rate ryung that high myself. I've been calling him the Inca of terran for a long time cause he's a TvT specialist to me. His TvZ is nothing special as I remember him playing pretty bad against july zerg. His TvP relies on 1-1-1 timings like puma and I remember him playing ridiculous 20 min 1 base games against Puzzle.

yeah
Slayers T generally have weak TvP, except for Taeja

We also have home story where stephano went 0-6 against, sound, mkp and mc.
