no. they were just some of the players who received the most "who do you want to see?" votes. it was just how WCG promoted these showmatches. there were 3 other supermatches.

Basically, one of the WCG sponsors(samsung?) Hosted a voting system where fans can vote for players who they want to see play on stage.
More than 10,000 votes were casted for each players. I think enderr came up top with the most votes.
There's no real rivalry here. But people are still wondering what the result could've been.
A vid in the OP should be added in a few minutes.
