Contrary to popular belief Stephano is not from the States, any mindless spam asserting otherwise after this time (19:48 KST/ 5:48 AM EST/ 10:48 GMT) will meet a moderator response. We have enough confusing spam posting in LR threads these days. Lets try to keep the love for everyone's favourite French zerg reasonable.
And as always: - No player bashing. - No caster bashing. - No balance whining.
Enjoy the games. |

WAIT FOR IT! it will be a legendary roflstomp i do not see how hero can even scratch mvp. hero vs. puma is a very even match right now, and mvp is exponentially stronger than puma We thought the same when MMA faced MVP in the GSL final everyone thought MVP would have this easy. But you never know and thats why I love starcraft:D But MMA's beaten MVP before a few times, and I believed MMA would win that. Hero on the other hand, i do not think he has beaten nor even matched with MVP yet has he? They've played 5 times, MVP leads 4-1 Are you talking about matches? even if MVP won more matches, MMA has still been able to take off a good number of games off MVP to be considered to be a "worthy" opponent. And I think MMA 4-1'd MVP or something in that GSPA tourny, even if it's not that important. So even if MVP is better their skills (judged by performances) seemed close enough that it would be a decent match. Nah, I was referring to the MVP vs HerO part of your post. Sorry, I trimmed the quote to make that clearer.
oh kk that makes a lot more sense :D
sorry myself, i didn't read carefully ^^;

When Stephano or MVP or whoever loses, let's guess the blame:
Jet lag Map balance Bo1 (even though it is 4 games) Race imba Matchup imba Not enough time to practice Groups too big

Don't forget "He just didn't care" lololol or "its not GSL so he didn't try".

Get out of here with your trolling, we all know this only applies to IdrA.

Can't just look at players, need to look at maps too. I agree with you on that, no way MVP losses on that map to Stephano we all saw what he did to Nestea at blizzcon. I also think Hero vs Stephano gonna be a lose for Stephano. Hero looks so damm great in that matchup atm. It all comes down to his match vs DRG and MC if he can win those 2. his record will be 2-2 and then I think he will go further
If I'm thinking of the same game, I don't feel that game was unwinnable for Nestea.

Why do you care exactly?

my guess:
1st --MC 2nd-Stephano 3rd-Dongraegu 4th-HerO 5th-MVP
ye...terran must die
|
My predictions
IMMVP <Bel'Shir Beach Winter> oGs.SK.MC MVP is so sick, saw him once again dominate on WCG, the traveling will affect him obviously, It isn't possible it won't but still he should be able to take down MC. liquid'HerO <Daybreak> M|Stephano Both these players are so unique and talented, however I think HerO's style suits perfectly to Stephano's style. His aggresive style will give Stephano loads of problems. IMMVP <Tal'Darim Altar LE> coL.MvP.DongRaeGu DRG is and stays a beast in ZvT, MVP can't be in topshape, it's best of 1, taken all these things is consideration DRG takes this match. oGs.SK.MC <Calm Before the Storm> liquid'HerO MC's mirror match is great, HerO and MC trained a lot together, however I think MC is just a little better in mirror match. M|Stephano <Crossfire SE 1.1> coL.MvP.DongRaeGu Stephano in ZvZ is a class apart, he got this without a doubt. liquid'HerO <Antiga Shipyard 1.1> IMMVP This game HerO gonna show how PvT has to be played, we all have seen games of him against PuMa on both dreamhack & NASL, now he has gotten the time to prepare for blizzcup and I am sure he will not disappoint us. M|Stephano <Dual Sight 1.1> oGs.SK.MC Stephano will (ab)use his mutalisk like crazy, and even tough MC got great blink stalker control, it won't be enough. this game will be Stephano's. liquid'HerO <Shakuras Plateau 2.0> coL.MvP.DongRaeGu HerO's PvZ is from another world, DRG's ZvP hasn't impressed me that mauch so far, HerO will take this (with ease). M|Stephano <Shakuras Plateau 2.0> IMMVP MVP has to win this match will he be able to make it through the next round.... so he does, everything is on stake this game, and then we will see the best and scariest MVP there is. oGs.SK.MC <Crossfire SE 1.1> coL.MvP.DongRaeGu MC's PvZ is pretty decent, DRG's ZvP isn's that impressive, conclussion: MC wins
1. liquid'HerO 2. IMMVP 3. M|Stephano 4. oGs.SK.MC 5. coL.MvP.DongRaeGu
So actually I think MVP, Stephano & MC all tie with 2 wins, however MC does lose to both Stephano & MVP so he is out, MVP beats Stephano so, Stephano 3, MVP 2.

My top 3 are Map balance, Bo1 and not enough time to practice in that order.
People who race and match-up whine usually don't stay up for first rounds of GSL events.

I don't think MVP will win on belshir against MC. MVP's strongest strength is being able to metagame with 1/1/1 but he doesn't have that advantage on that map and it'll probably be a drawn out bio vs. deathball game which is exactly what MC wants.

When stephano wins, Let´s guess the blame
Korean´s are jetlagged. Bo1 means nothing. Stephano got lucky with his unsually style that will get figured out eventually. Good maps for stephano. MVP are tired after WCG
:D

1. Hero 2. Mvp 3. DongRaeGu 4. MC 5. Stephano

It puzzles me that many of you think Stephano will do better than MC and DRG.

For the record, MVP lost to Nestea on shakuras in the brackets at blizzcon, and with the finals played on shakuras having Nestea on a huge lead all game long, I wouldn't say the same either.

A lot of these are valid detriments to performance.

I reallllllly don't want him to but I don't see MVP getting anything less than 1st in this group the guy is just insanse and coming off a wcg win won't hurt at all.
