It's just hard to play your life on a single bo3 every 2 months, and to have to try again if you fail.

Contrary to popular belief Stephano is not from the States, any mindless spam asserting otherwise after this time (19:48 KST/ 5:48 AM EST/ 10:48 GMT) will meet a moderator response. We have enough confusing spam posting in LR threads these days. Lets try to keep the love for everyone's favourite French zerg reasonable. And as always: - No player bashing. - No caster bashing. - No balance whining. Enjoy the games.

Doesn't help that he keeps getting owned in code A, but no way he's worse than most code S players (in fact, I'd say he's better than most). It's just hard to play your life on a single bo3 every 2 months, and to have to try again if you fail. Even if you only look at the last 2 months his results in Korea are still extremely mediocre. It's not like he got MVP or MC in the first round of Code A 2 times, if he was better than most code S players he wouldn't be losing to Yugioh and asd.

If he were "better than most Code S players", he would not be dropping games every single time he plays a half-decent Koreans. Beating foreigners all the time says NOTHING about skill since foreigners are, in general, absolutely god awful compared to top Koreans.

Since when were asd and Yugioh qualified as "better than most Code S players" Lets face it, Hero has underperformed severely in Korea, and until he has a breakout like Oz, its completely reasonable to expect nothing major from him. People voting hero 4-0 are just severely deluded. At best he'll have a 2-2 performance today.

It's not as terrible as you say it is, and it explain why he's doomed to have a terrible TLPD (at this rate, he'll be positive in like 3 years xD) Most code S protoss are also losing everytime they hit a decent (foreign or not) player.

As I said, most code S protoss, in fact all of them except Oz and MC (not even sure for MC) will lose to asd or yugioh. (well, perhaps not yugioh xD And he lost 2-1...while MC lost to Monster or whatever his name was) And I did not expect him to win the group, I'm far from thinking he'll 4-0, I just don't think he's a "mediocre protoss". It's just hard to judge him against Korean players, because now he's like a foreign player in the sense of his sample size of games against korean players is minuscule.

MMA/Polt, Naniwa/Nestea, Leenock vs. Everyone (he eliminated Polt from Code S, MMA from Providence, beat Naniwa for Providence, and is directly competing with Nestea for best Zerg in the world) are all super hyped matches. This group is great, though. You guys are deluded! A group with Polt on it cannot be better than this group. And i say that only in comparison with group A. For me at least i'd rather an MVP than MMA, MC over Naniwa; the only thing that grabs my attention to group B is to see Nani vs Nestea rematch
