Any idea if the finals are bo5/bo7?

Contrary to popular belief Stephano is not from the States, any mindless spam asserting otherwise after this time (19:48 KST/ 5:48 AM EST/ 10:48 GMT) will meet a moderator response. We have enough confusing spam posting in LR threads these days. Lets try to keep the love for everyone's favourite French zerg reasonable. And as always: - No player bashing. - No caster bashing. - No balance whining. Enjoy the games.

Polt went 1-2 in last Season's Code S, went 1-1 with Leenock (best ZvT) and choked a game against Ganzi that he should have won. Yes, Hero did win Dreamhack, but the only Koreans there were DongRaeGu and Puma. Then he made it to the NASL finals by beating non-Koreans. The last live event we saw Stephano at, MLG Providence, he lost to Boxer while Polt beat all of TeamLiquid and Alive before falling to Puma after going something like 14-0. I don't see how Hero and Stephano are outperforming or look better than Polt currently. Hero and Stephano have never even been in Code S. So Polt isn't relevant anymore because he lost went 1-1 with a top three zerg, lost a close game to Ganzi, and got beat by freaking ForGG? That's ridiculous. People are acting like everyone in the Blizzard Cup is on fire. DongRaeGu? A great player, but hasn't even made it to the quarterfinals of a GSL. He fell to Code A just like Polt in the first round, going 1-2. Stop being a fanboy and saying 'oh he should have won this'. Haven't you noticed that almost every game he loses is one in which his early attacks don't work? His early attack wasn't cost efficient versus Ganzi so stop acting like Ganzi didn't deserve the win. Yeah Polt beat a bunch of foreigners and a choking player and that means hes just as good as the other players in his group? Completely contradicts what you said earlier about Hero and Stephano not being impressive because they just versed foreigners. In terms of results in Korea Polt has been performing poorly. Not only did he drop to Code A but the season before he didn't even advance and lost twice to Killer despite his alleged 'great TvP'. At least Hero and Stephano are performing well in foreign tournaments if not Korean ones. Polt lost to some Lalush last week. DRG came third in Providence so his results, if not great recently, are still better than Polts. Recently every player in the Blizzard cup has performed well result wise in some respect except Polt. Although he lost to Forgg he didn't even put up a good fight against him. Was completely outplayed and for soem reason refused to build a turret.

This is supposed to be the wrap up tournament of the year determining the crème de la crème. You can excuse people for being upset that a bunch of Bo1s is going to decide who stays and who leaves. It would've been extra special if all group games were Bo3s. Would it have taken long? Sure, but why not do it right if you're going to do it at all?
