If you aren't giving them money, you don't particularly matter. Even assuming NASL is a terrible league, that has nothing to do with the question at hand. GSL isn't at that reasonable time anyway.

Way to go to cut the numbers of viewers in half at least :

Crying and whining because a grand finals that takes place on the WEST COAST OF AMERICA isnt coming on until like 4 or 5am euro time. Oh, I'm sorry, have you ever seen me complain because the GSL doesnt even start until 4 or 5am on the east coast? I didnt think so. Just because you have one finals that starts super late/early doesn't mean you need to throw a humongous fit about it. You dont like it? Watch the vods, or create your own NASL and deal with it. I know everyone hates NASL but i dont see the GSL getting hate for coming on at like ungodly hours for most americans. Shame they also alienate the east coast of their own country... think before you post.

Well if you start a sc2 league and you think that someone who plays sc2 and is a member of an esport community site etc as someone who doesn't matter then you have bigger problems than just poor scheduling in business the people who aren't giving you money are the most important as you have to win them round

Ive been watching and keeping up with NASL from the beginning. The finals will end by midnight or 1am tonight, which is totally reasonable for me and understandable to me because its on the West Coast, which is 3 hours behind. Ive actually enjoyed some major West Coast LANs because I might be stuck at work all day but I know I can watch them later at night when I'm back home

It's just another instance where the NASL hasn't given full thought to the impacts of their decision, as nothing could support the decision to waste the afternoon with lower-rated tournaments and filler. The start time of the finals is awful. Even people on the west coast will be up later than normal to see the whole match. It's probably pretty nice in Hawaii... Well, i admit, you got me. Didn't sense any sarcasm there. But yeah, i agree with your post. ![]()

Its already so sad to see so few people in the audience .... it takes away a part of the fun ... and now, with this schedule, we can't even watch it live and have at least "some feeling" that we share a good moment with others. Very very disappointed...

That said, NASL up to this point has catered to Europeans, with their rebroadcasts and otherwise good start times. This time isn't even optimal for Americans as others have said. This is a bad decision by NASL and they are going to lose a big chunk of viewers for their grand final for little reason.

Because that tournament takes place on the other side world, NASL found a way to fuck over the east coast when they are in the same country as the east coast.

I have to wake up at 7 AM, and don't mind having to wait for a Bo7 to finish at around 1 or so.
