Anyone who continues this absolutely terrible off topic time of play debate from page 11 and onward will be banned.

The same goes for the regular crowd of:

-Balance whiners
-Stream whiners
-Event and caster bashers
-HoN vs LoL vs Dota debaters

Stick to the games and enjoy your free event.

Im sorry but a bunch of these europeans sound like little brats. Crying and whining because a grand finals that takes place on the WEST COAST OF AMERICA isnt coming on until like 4 or 5am euro time. Oh, I'm sorry, have you ever seen me complain because the GSL doesnt even start until 4 or 5am on the east coast? I didnt think so. Just because you have one finals that starts super late/early doesn't mean you need to throw a humongous fit about it. You dont like it? Watch the vods, or create your own NASL and deal with it. I know everyone hates NASL but i dont see the GSL getting hate for coming on at like ungodly hours for most americans.

why did they have EU rebroadcast for the "league" part when they never intended euros to be able to watch the finals?

So you buy the $10 ticket for the finals and watch the vods? Would you prefer not to have rebroadcast at all?

I don't want to give NASL $10, show me a good reliable product and I might, DH, MLG, GSL etc all don't charge for their finals and all are at a reasonable time for everyone

Yes but that is irrelevant. If you aren't giving them money, you don't particularly matter. Even assuming NASL is a terrible league, that has nothing to do with the question at hand. GSL isn't at that reasonable time anyway.

I feel like scheduling an event based on PST may be the worst time zone you could schedule on. It isn't convenient for anyone but them.

Shame they also alienate the east coast of their own country... think before you post.

Not great hours for east coast North America either to be honest, I'm trying to attempt to make senses of whatever happens during Hon but mostly just hanging around until the day [9] daily.

Even if I wake up at 5AM, I will have to g o to work at 7AM. With the delays NASL always have, I will not be able to watch the damn freaking end.

what is irrelevant? just saying something is irrelevant isn't a good enough argument, tell me why?

Well if you start a sc2 league and you think that someone who plays sc2 and is a member of an esport community site etc as someone who doesn't matter then you have bigger problems than just poor scheduling

in business the people who aren't giving you money are the most important as you have to win them round

your post doesnt even make sense. Ive been watching and keeping up with NASL from the beginning. The finals will end by midnight or 1am tonight, which is totally reasonable for me and understandable to me because its on the West Coast, which is 3 hours behind. Ive actually enjoyed some major West Coast LANs because I might be stuck at work all day but I know I can watch them later at night when I'm back home

Well I saved the day of thousands of Europeans if you want to pay me then send me a PN.

+ Show Spoiler +

Sorry, but you didn't "save the day" for any of us. I'm not fucking up my sleep schedule entirely just to watch this. I know it's the "North American Star League" but shit, do they even WANT europeans to watch it!? Doesn't seem like it, very dissapointed.

LOL, good sarcasm detection.

Obviously, it's called the North American Starleague, so the time zone concerns of other nations are immaterial.

Yet every other tournament has tried to make it as best as possible for EVERYONE, despite it being North American(or even European/Asian) event or league. It really doesn't matter if they are named North American Starleague, they only gain more if the schedule is suitable for everyone.

e. and yeah, apparently it somewhat sucks for NORTH AMERICANS also.

hehe, my sarcasm also goes undetected. It's just another instance where the NASL hasn't given full thought to the impacts of their decision, as nothing could support the decision to waste the afternoon with lower-rated tournaments and filler.

The start time of the finals is awful. Even people on the west coast will be up later than normal to see the whole match.

It's probably pretty nice in Hawaii...

Well, i admit, you got me. Didn't sense any sarcasm there. But yeah, i agree with your post.

They have every right to do so, it's just stupid on there part. Unless viewers don't matter, then it's a great idea.

Wow, so many complainers. GSL broadcasts usually start at 4 - 5 AM for the east coast of the US and I hardly see anyone complain about that.

Sure, but you can't deny taking other regions into account would be better for them overall....

Same feeling here than everybody else: why the F.... is the final scheduled so late !!!

Its already so sad to see so few people in the audience .... it takes away a part of the fun ... and now, with this schedule, we can't even watch it live and have at least "some feeling" that we share a good moment with others.

Very very disappointed...

Now the Europeans know how Americans feel about GSL. Why do you have to start at the worst time imaginable!?

That said, NASL up to this point has catered to Europeans, with their rebroadcasts and otherwise good start times. This time isn't even optimal for Americans as others have said. This is a bad decision by NASL and they are going to lose a big chunk of viewers for their grand final for little reason.

Because that tournament takes place on the other side world, NASL found a way to fuck over the east coast when they are in the same country as the east coast.

10:45 PM isn't that late for east coast viewers. I have to wake up at 7 AM, and don't mind having to wait for a Bo7 to finish at around 1 or so.
