To think if it, they included open seasons as well which is basicly like super tournements. Polt forever to be forgotten ![]()

I totally disagree. Yes, Leenock was the favourite. May be Leenock is the overall better player. But from what I saw today, Jiakji deserved that title. He looked prepared and played pretty good. Finally some exciting finals!

They found some extra reason to invite MMA since they needed another Terran, which was probably that MVP could be taken in more than one slot. He's 4th in the GSL rankings. MVP already qualified twice for the Blizz Cup, so it makes sense to move down the rankings. Especially given that it was originally intended to be the top 8 GSL performers.

July, MKP and MMA are still there... MMA even won a GSL after losing in the ST finals.

yea beating the terran munching protosses Puzzle and Oz was obviously a total fluke. Frankly in tournaments of this calibre and MLG Providence for that matter there is no such thing. The fact that he "squeaked" through is a testament to his opponents and makes his achievement even better.

Jjakji played amazingly. it's like jjakji took Magic pills today and became a different player. The Jjakji that i saw, was mediocore bordering questionable play. But today was obviously VERY different

Nothing related to the GSL finalist curse. It has been avoided by some, but it's still fearsome.
