Same drill as usual:
  • No caster bashing.
  • Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
  • In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys.

I think we'll see a Hero final and I don't think anyone could beat him except PuMa... It could be a repeat of MLG Providence.

WHAAAT???? no forcefields?????? why?

used to many last fight at natural.... I think.

Most of his sentries had 3+ bars of energy. There were enough for some. My guess is nerves made TT1 misclick and that was that.

My guess is he gave up when he saw the flank. No FFs can save you from that.

In Nani vs Stephano on Tal'Darim Nani's ball was in the center (which is VERY open) of the map and Stephano had like 3 flanks set up, but Nani just force fielded all of them and crushed the army

Nani was a bit ahead in that game though, but yeah he blocked off one direction and dealt with a third of stephanos army then stephano pulled back and lost a lot more. That's generally how it goes, pure roach is great when you manage to catch a protoss off guard.

i dont think anyone who knows what they are talking about would consider sen beating tt1 an upset, unless u mean tt1 winning a game is an upset

No, its really not easily stopped. Almost every zerg does mass roach in ZvP because its good. It murders toss aggression, makes it very difficult for toss to expand, and allows for the oh-so-common muta tech switch. Sen is a great player, he knows this, which is why he does it. As long as you don't sit back and let the protoss max out, trading roaches is the best playstyle at the moment by far.

This. TT1 had 1 collo while sen was maxed. Sen's macro was just showcased there, maxing out at 13 mins... He could afford to trade alot. WP by sen. Sen is also very flexible.

32.6% it seems

March version is a lot lot lot different than current one, its like comparing cross metal to close (ground) metal.

I have to think that he is hiding some stuffs he wants to do later in the tournament... there is a good chance he will run into Hero again

I about lost it laughing when Sen contaminated the robo and that one dude in the crowd went nuts.

I'll hold my crowd opinion until after tomorrow. We saw a similar thing with IPL where it was a thin crowd on the Friday. Either way, so far the series have been really good. Some really fun games mixed in, several going 4-5 games deep. This is setting up to be a really fun weekend of SC.
