Same drill as usual: - No caster bashing.
- Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
- In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys. |

Really nice catching up there by NASL, I just loooooooove how the foreign tourneys (DH, MLG, NASL) try to outclass each other and thus get better and better and better. Fuck yeah! Hell ya I would love to see other tourmys pick up intro with music like that

Sen is so good it's almost absurd. He's just omnipresent in tournament Top 8s it seems like. I would love to see him finally take first place in one of these.
|
I feel like I'm watching wwe with these intros lol...
|
only thing that would make these intro's better would be the players flexing their muscles.
|
Oh god I can't wait for IdrAs song
|
For those talking of the best intro music. Well All we need is for Idra to come in with Joan Jett Bad Reputation song and he wins.

You know, I have to say, I like the idea of the single booth with the players together. I think it is a neat dynamic in that they could be talking smack to one another in there and in between games that we will never know. it is fun to think about.

Yeah it's like he is reading off of a teleprompter that is scrolling way too slowly.

This tournament is shaping up far better than thought, except from some rough edges regarding the production, but with games like we've had so far I will gladly turn a blind eye to that. As many all ready said before me, the only thing missing now is a large crowd. I can't help but wonder if they chose a smaller venue something along the lines of the Dreamhack Valencia Invitational, at least in my eyes a smaller packed venue is more enjoyable than.. well what we are watching now. Anyways, Sen vs TT1 gogogo!

the really fun thing about this event for me atm is..
As soon as a caster enters the USA he seems to grow a jacket ...

ROFL @ rotterdam / mr. bitter :D

I don't disagree. But better edit that fast there bud, there's a warning against that now.

Love rotti and Bitter so much!

Is it just me or are the intros making me tired?
o.o

People mention gunrun's voice, what they really should mention is his epic perm.
|
Idra better come out to a recording of himself repeating, "Fuck you, and you, and you, and you...."

TT1:"I decided to train a lot and played 20 games a day" I was wondering if 20 is considered a lot in the pro-scene or not... Also, did TT1 pick his own theme music? I mean Pokemon is kinda random lol. 20 is not a lot at all.
Not to be the guy who brings up BW, but that's nothing compared to how much players like Flash or Jaedong play each day. But even for StarCraft 2, that number is low.

Am I the only one who finds those intro's kinda lame? Cool idea and all but it just seems wierd.

There's just something that feels...awkward for some reason? It's missing some finetuning. Gretorp's hype made me want to fall asleep, and the whole red carpet stuff is a lot more awkward when there's only 15 people there.
