Same drill as usual:
  • No caster bashing.
  • Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
  • In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys.

That looks amazing. Why PvP isn't like that?

I think there is a recast anyway for the Euros.

Something feels different..

It's a weekday, early afternoon. There will be more people this weekend. Not a fair comparison.

Still kinda embarassing though :/

yeah it's still bad though... MLG starts on friday too and I've never seen a dead MLG.

Because MLG usually starts at 5pm when most people are off work and out of class/school.

MLG starts at 5:30pm EST for me on Friday.

It's 6pm EST Friday, and NASL crowd still looks fairly dead.

The last few MLGs have been on the east coast so 6pm EDT/EST is easy for people to get off work. NASL is held in Cali so it's only ~3pm over there right now.

so compare to MLG Anaheim? Didn't Anaheim start even earlier to maintain standard EST time and it was still packed..

No, MLG uses local time as a basis, not EST. Why would anyone ever hold a tournament so early? people would still be at school or work and the crowd would be completely dead.... oh, wait

What has Hasu won? Huk has dreamhack, MLG, code S, and HSC3. I cant think of any HAsuobs wins ooff the top of my head. 4th place TSL3??

because it doesnt

It takes micro perfection, and these days it takes some strategical thought as well. PvP is soooo much better than it used to be. Still, you can't afford mistakes in the early game.

Remember to write PvP on my list of fucked up match-ups in SC2 right behind ZvZ and TvP....sigh.

And btw I really hope they step-up the production similar to Season 1, because then the event will be awesome on the second half of Day 2.

You'll miss the GSL finals if you're watching vods though :o . Unless you want to watch the vods at like 5 am.

I am rooting for Hasu so hard because of EGs trashtalk and american ignorance towards europe. I like Huk usually though. Still EU/mouz fighting!!

As a Canadian, I'm cheering for HasuObs. I really want someone from mouz to rape some nerds.

show me the crowd pic of DH on day 1. It was just as pathetic.

So this hall is going to get bigger ? more seats at day 2/3 ? Just wondering because i believe all is played at the same place unlike Dreamhack.

wtf is your problem? why do you post this and what do you have to gain from this... you should stop this EU vs US bs and just enjoy the games.

Keep your panties on, it's hard to see in the darkness so i wonder what it looks like, and ask it here ? No need to get all red headed, chill just asking

I think there is a recast anyway for the Euros.

I heard someone saying there won't be for the finals.

But even if there was I would watch VODs. Why would I waste time with the entire thing if I can just skip to the interesting stuff using VODs

What? The small crowd has nothing to do with the hall, it has to do with it being a weekday and people have school and work at this time.

Seriously people, THINK. IPL had no one on days 1 and 2. Why? Because people have shit to do during the week. Ever see afternoon baseball game crowds? The stadiums are empty. Wait for Saturday and Sunday and then judge the crowd.

How can you say Americans are ignorant of Europe. It's one of our most important states!

NASL should just play a cheer track to offset that lack of live audience, like how sitcoms use laugh tracks.
