Same drill as usual:
  • No caster bashing.
  • Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
  • In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys.

Anyone know what race Marrow is playing this tournament? Is he switching to T against any races?

Marrow is playing ZvP, ZvT, TvZ as always.

Marrow's a ZvG specialist, i'm sure.

Marrow is my favorite player, but come on... July is the ZvG specialist

He probably meant GvZ specialist, considering Marrow likes to pick G against zerg.

Yeah, sorry I fucked up. Morrow has really good GvZ, its quite excellent.

I'll just go ahead and ask again, although having watched the last ten minutes of the stream, I begin to seriously doubt if this event is really worth purchasing...

Or you could just go to NASL's website and see the news article (posted today) that its $10

Agreed. I seriously doubt that they don't speak ANY english at all

They do, but Koreans are notably shy and intimidated easily (MC types are the exception)
So for them they are very scared to make it sound wrong or bad.
I will agree with you though, like a simple thank you would be awsome.

MC cast entire games in English last Homestory Cup....

And that's why it was the best tournament of the year.

there is weekly pass. A button on twitch.tv just next to "monthly" one

Ah, thank you. The weekly-pass-option on the official page consists of a grayed out "coming soon"-label.

The games so far are awesome. I mean seriously, kick-ass PvP series! I hope Huk and Hasu can bring a similar level.

Some of them do, MC always has quips and a few sometimes prepare a phrase or two. English isn't a lingua franca in Korea like it is in Europe, and the language is significantly different from all European languages. French is pretty similar to English in a lot of ways, heck, there's french words we use in English that are almost identical (pork, mutton). There really aren't any words similar in English and Korean.
