To echo Liquid'Jinro, I think he expected jjakji to cancel cloak after scouting that Oz had a robo. Thus, he went immortal instead of observer. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

He got ROFL stomped by Mvp when they played in the Ro16 and he probably will again if Mvp reaches the finals.
Don't listen to Fionn saying Jjakji has a chance; that's the same thing he said about Top and now look where the poor guy is.

This retarded bias towards Ts seriously need to stop.
You guys all get moody and upset when Oz loses and cheer for him if he wins
While Jjakji gets nothing but negativity regardless of what he does and how he does.
This is not fair to Jjakji. He is a professional who is playing in a tournament with money on the line. Cut him some slack......
Yea, cause everyone is on Oz's side here yea? >.>
As far as I can see there is nothing but hating on both players..
Oz is an amazing Protoss who didn't play his best today.. and even though I haven't seen too much from Jjakji, I'd assume the same..
GG to both players, the better player on the day won, as much as I wanted to see Oz win, he didn't play his best SC2 today..

GOGOGO MVP Crush the little nerd of Leenock. do it for Terran!
|
Jjakji will be eaten alive if he meets MvP in the finals.. maybe he can have a chance against Leenock

He made a split decision to attack and it was blatantly the wrong decision.

Does ANYONE know what Jjakji said that made Tasteless said it was out of place? I didn't hear it and nobody is answering this.

Not really sure, TLPD can only explain in 57% percent win rate stat wise. In terms of actual play vs a player of MVP's caliber chances are it doesn't look to good.

Now he comes with Nestea and Losira backing him up in practice, and surely a mind boggling strategy which will make the community yell "TERRAN OP".
Leenocks comes with confidence after being champion at MLG and defeating MVP so he should put a fight. 3-1 for MVP !! All valid points. Leenocks confidence should be good, hope he had time to prepare something though. Last iwn could've been tiring, specially for a 16(?) year old.
MVP with Nestae and Losira as a training partner. Wouldn't want to be Leenock

Far too much teching / expanding without an army in games 1 and 5, I honestly couldn't believe he build a Dark Shrine when there was already a Missile Turret up in game 5 for example.
Game 4 was a pretty good mind game to go proxy all in on tal darim but the skill level required to execute that against CC first is hardly high. And as for game 3 he lost that one due to his absolutely terrible defence against two banshees... gg Jjakji
Feels like he does not have much respect on JJakji. Thinks he can win with whatever strategy he will use, going all tech routes at once, come on. Even noob players won't do that.

Hopefully MVP brings out the metal.

disappointing game after watching dream hack, and Hero play.... I guess that players will come back to standard play, gimmicky and greedy play lose hardcore to standard play, this is by far the protoss play lately after terran try to double evo to counter double forge, then protoss get greedy taking a third while double forge....

Come on MVP.
Show that leenock's MLG adventure was just a flash in the pan. And congratulations on your 3rd GSL title, buy leenock a chocolate bar for his time.

Terran scouts your robo. It's not as ridiculous as people are making it out to be to assume the other player just skips cloak then. Banshees unlike DTs are straight up durable good damage dealers even when forced to engage as part of a general army. Trying to get extra immortals seemed like a reasonable edge to cut. Unfortunately if you guess wrong there's no room in the 1-1-1 to save yourself.
