I cut out after 4 = / Game five was a super back and forth game, Puma got some quick ghosts and the whole thing hinged on some clutch EMPs. Game six was a pretty nice cheese by puma I guess. Game seven was AWESOME. Lot of action and a nice macro game to finish the series. | ||

The casters of the event did amazing job even while struggling with some health issues(eye infection for tasteless, flu(?) for apollo and losing voice artosis). I was happy to see guest casters sheth and TLO who bring interesting dynamic into casting by themselves. As for the finals, i was very impressed by the fact that they secured ice hockey rink for bigger venue to accomodate the crowd. Also adding music(!!) while introducing the players was awesome :D Watching puma and hero enter the stage accompanied by something energetic playing on the background was awesome. Same thing for the victory celebration on stage. I think more bigger tournaments should think about adding some intro musics and victory musics for the semi-finals/finals to add some flavour. I also agree with many others that the between games analysis on the e-sports couch was interesting to listen and that dynamic worked really well for me at least. Congrats to Hero for winning(and also for team liquid). It was so heartwarming to see him on the stage after his win being cheered by that awesome crowd. His play was just stellar. Congrats also for Puma for 2nd place. I really liked his flanking manouvers on the games where he took out hero's 2 colossus push and shakuras plateau(i think?) where he took out hero's army and 3rd base. I think i might be in the minority where i also liked him doing that 4 rax all-in to extend the series further and to throw hero off also. That being said, i am a protoss player myself and i'm sure there are lots of happy zealots around at the moment. I've been lurking on this site ever since beta came around, but this finally made me register an account so i could add my thoughts also =). | ||
