A system which gives players an incentive to lose can't be a good system. yeah i dont like that groups stage where someone who already advanced has to play to determine seeding or someone else's advancement. Yep; It's not that bad as most the of time the best players will advance anyway. I don't know if a perfect system exist, but each time those situations arise (like in the the naniwa-cloud-stephano-sheth group) it feels awkward.

Wow, Liquid back to back Dreamhack champions, pretty sick. (Well, I guess Valencia was in between, but winter and summer are the more important ones imo).

Didnt see the games but big congratz to Hero! Liquid fighting!

Think its also the match up... between 111 and predictable bio ball for tvp, terran really doesn't got that many interesting option... one makes you a villain and the other is a bit dull and uninteresting unit composition imo, and I like terran generally but just not in that match up, of course not puma fault but I think its one of the factors : / Thats why I find it interesting when mvp goes for the heavy marine/tank pushes/contains which "feels more terran" to me but people seem to hate that too *shrug* Jjakji had some really good builds vs puzzle that involved mech and air
Yeah I should check those out... I would love if terran could effectively go mech in tvp. If you think about what apollo said about bio needing to smash the toss army down as they can reinforce quickly with warpgates is very true, so terran army should be more efficient and mech seems more proper then flimsy bio :p

are there already official viewer numbers? how many people have viewed especially the bo7 grand final?

You didn't, really. All games were rather one-sided. They weren't of the epic, nailbiting kind you'd expect at the finals of an event such as Dreamhack. The Bo7 was over in about an hour and a half. I was quite disappointed, to be honest. The skill level of the players was nowhere near that of MLG.

I absolutely agree. There's much room for improvement as far as DH tournament administration goes. As long as it follows the format used for Invitationals and Grand Finals it's fine, but the group stage matches that even spawned the dreaded three-way tie and coinflip situation should be looked after and corrected ASAP.

I have to say that the couch discussion between the non casting casters between games was amazing... This Dreamhack set the new quality standard again. We're lucky to have suck a good scene, MLG, GSL, DH, and all others are pretty good <3 So much ESPORTS :D

Didn't have the time to see as much of the tournament as I would've liked but I really loved the production quality from what I saw.
Huge thanks to DreamHack for providing top-notch eSports!

Yeah I loved last HSC too. Especially because it's casted by pros and their insight is just unbelievable. You think you know a lot, then you know you know nothing after listening to them.

Stayed up 26 hours to watch all this, so glad it was all worth it. I would have been so upset if HerO came so close to tasting victory only to lose the final game, glad things didn't turn out that way . Great tournament all around, despite a few technical issues everything seemed to run very smooth and on schedule.
