Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

In addition leave the usual out of this topic:

-Balance complaints
-Map complaints
-Stream complaints
-Caster/player bashing
-Off topic discussions

Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned
upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage!

Sorry if this has been asked but were the Ro32 groups randomly selected or how did they do it? Seems like some groups are stacked while others are lacking

Well, if MLG doesnt like TL (numerous teamkills during pools), why should the european tournament like the american team. I'm really interested to see how HuK vs IdrA plays out after IdrAs match against Kas.

MLG were actually the pioneers of EG teamkills. Just ask Machine.

Looks like it was drawn randomly with 2 first place players + 2 2nd placed players from the Ro64 groups.

Group A is ridiculously stacked for teamkills. Meanwhile Genius gets an easy way to the main bracket.

tough luck for EG =p. Really excited to see Huk vs Puma and Huk vs IdrA again though. Also Naniwa vs. stephano is going to be really awesome too.

Group B this one will be fun...

Group F is a godsend for Sen. He could possibly take 1st.

still on the eg group a...i was shocked a bit at first..but these are great odds that actually 2/3 eg players will actually make it out of the group...orlys psychology in eg group will be shattered at least..and considering how mediocre huks and idras play was today that was probably the best thing that ever happened to them!my 2 cents!

I don't think anyone doubts the fact that he has a chance to get through, but I think Sen will take him down in ZvZ convincingly, and he is mostly known for ZvT not ZvP, and I think HerO can take him out. We'll see though!

It's as if the organizers were bipolar. Some groups are ridiculously hard while others are wayyyyy easier. Nothing really in between. Group F = Group of Death for sure although Group A would give them a run for their money. Kind of LOL at EG all meeting each other in one group.

I really like the system of a 2nd group stage, it seems more exciting to me than a standard single elimination. Almost every group seems to be a group of death, except group C and D of course.

Don't blame the organizers. Random 2 top1 + 2 top 2 from previous groupstage in each group is quite fair. Thing is some players underperformed today (Sen at his last bo3 or Idra for example)

Gogo White-Ra!! Damn group F...
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

i was thinking about that to at least 1 EG member will make it thru guaranteed even tho its a team kill they stil have a chance to have 2 members of EG then having all of them spread out all in different groups and none of EG members advance

EDIT: IF 2 members of EG make it thru they will be far from each other from the brackets at least

Luck of the draw and Idra getting second place made it possible. He gets first and it's only possible for TWO EG's randomly drawn into the same group and thus both of them potentially moving forward. Sucks for EG but on the plus side, they get one EG guy guaranteed to go through.
