Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

Upgrades get refunded in SC2 if the building is lost.

The advantage that Naniwa is having right now has very little to do with extended series. Sure it's a bit weird but alternatively Leenock has to win 2 Bo3 while Naniwa only 1. Same deal.
Some tournaments have a less extreme advantage for the Winner's Bracket Winner. i.e. The finals format becomes Bo7 with 1 game advantage to the winner, regardless or extended brackets etc. One is probably more "fair", the other seems to be a much better spectator experience. It's a choice MLG need to make in their format shake up (so far all they have done is import rules/brackets from their Halo days).
Completely agree with you. It's bad for spectator experience. That one i can accept.
I just hate people calling it UNFAIR format. There is nothing more fair than this. Every player should be allowed to drop 2 games in a series TWICE before they are out. That's why we have the kind of advantage Naniwa is having right now. Whether it makes a good spectacle is another story.
On another note, i thought Leenock was going to do way more damage than that with those roaches.

When an upgrading structure dies it automatically refunds the cost of the upgrade.

Heh. Amusing. Tasteless commends the gamesense of Leenock, knowing to pull back when the void ray comes out.
Camera shifts to overlord parked over stargate.
Leenock is in great position; no warpgate means 3 droned bases safely.

I dont think naniwa has gotten a third base this whole weekend
