Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

P2P - must install octoshape client.

Here on Linux, thinking there's no way there'd be a Linux client...and there was...20 seconds in my terminal and BOOM I don't lag any more.

Linux clients, saving ESPORTS. (Take note, Blizzard, please)

Time to change your system MLG.

You don't watch MLG very often do you? This is the finals. Naniwa was seeded there for is performance throughout the year. People who play MLG often are rewarded for that.

I cheer for Naniwa and I still think it's stupid
It deligitimizes the win IMO

on a side note go liquibet I got my point from my man leenock. I really like this kids play and ever since last GSL I have been a fan. I am sure he will be a major staple in Zerg play for a while since he is so young

Check the date. Bam your point has just been shut down

I guess none of you can understand a caster exaggerating something for effect and would rather annonymously bash someone for not intimately following the gsl.

Leenock was not someone people were talking about to take this whole tourney before it started, everyone knows and thought MVP had a great shot. Leenock crushes him Bitter makes 1 comment emphasizing the underdog aspect mistakenly using the words "I don't know" and 200 nerds jizz in there pants about the chance to brag about how they know more about the gsl than an mlg caster.

You're crazy.

That was much earlier in the year when Terran was completely dominating the SC2 scene in GSL

Rewarded too well, imo.

I don't see how people can argue with you on that. I've been saying it for a while, but you shouldn't be rewarded that much for placing below 5th and just "showing" up, because that's all they did to really earn it. I mean, a lot of the seeded players were completely outclassed by some of the open bracket qualifiers.

The cheers are louder for P/Z because of how the races are played, but it just seems like the terran race is easier to most people. Also a lot of people think terran is OP n just good micro can make you win games you shouldn't.

don't put words in my mouth and say i think terran is like that..there is still things that are ridiculous in this game imo, but i'll just not mention them.

can someone tell me if there are code S spots up for grabs this time? I can't find anything about it anywhere.

Some people believe it is two spots due to that GSL chart, but MLG made a tweet or something saying something along the lines of "a code s spot" which points that there will only be one code S spot given. Nani just has to place higher than DRG and he should be in Code S, since Leenock is in Code S atm.

Naniwa has played like 46 Bo3 in the MLG to get where he is.
Your argument is upside down.
If you're not getting better faster than everybody else, you're getting worse.

absolutely TRUE.
very, very true.

the community is heavily in favor of Z or P and the fact that no casters at all play terran has to do with it.
for example, if you just listen to artosis it makes it always sound hard from the Z/P perspective.
i attended 2 live events and the cheers for terrans are never as strong as the ones for zerg/protoss

.. Or perhaps that people like to see the 2 other races / other players win great games for a change? come on, off with the tin foil hat

I think they have more fun with it on

seems like half of TL doesn't follow the GSL. Leenock has been an absolute beast for the past 2 months. He was already in code s back in the early seasons of GSL then kinda fell off and now he's back. (ro8 currently will play against aLive).

I would bet it's much more than half that doesn't follow GSL.

No no, you're thinking of NASL.

Depends on whether DRG makes it high enough in this GSL to retain his Code S spot or not, probably...

If DRG wins his Code S spot, he'll probably just forfeit his Code A match.

Still regretting putting DRG 3rd in that power ranking you did?
