They should've won their Semi-Final matches then.
Still a good set of games.

TLO not playing Zerg?
Morrow 0:2 HerO HasuObs 2:1 Ret Mana 2:0 Sheth ThorZain 2:0 TLO My Predictions, gogo Mouz
Morrow 0:2 HerO HasuObs 0:2 Ret Mana 2:0 Sheth ThorZain 2:0 TLO
ACE: Mana 0:2 HerO
Come on Liquid <3333!
Hmmm, I feel that the first three matchups (Morrow-Hero, Hasuobs-Ret, Mana-Sheth) are all very close and can go either way. Thorzain should take out TLO.
I definitely do not want to underestimate Morrow, as this was the player that did beat both Ryung and Lots in IPL team arena, and is certainly a strong player. Hero favored in my opinion. Hasuobs and Ret are both macro style players, so I would expect to see long macro games. After seeing Ret play against Demuslim earlier this week, I would say that Ret is favored. Sheth is a pretty strong player, but Mana has been looking very convincing against zerg. I would say Mana is favored.
Best of luck to both teams!

TLO is basically a top rated player with all 3 races T_T soh strong

will make the grand finals post later tonight !! it will be broadcast on Sunday

I would normally say HerO 2-0 over Morrow, but from what i remember Bel' shir is HerO's weakest maps. But Hero's PvZ is god like so so i'll go 2-1 Hero
Ret should 2-1 Hasu
Mana vs Sheth i have no idea, its to close for me to even guess
TLO vs Thorzain Sorry but Thorzain is a pretty solid player.
Morrow 0:2 HerO HasuObs 0:2 Ret Mana 0:2 Sheth ThorZain 2:0 TLO

FInals live? if not how long ago they've been played?

Morrow>Hero Hasuobs<Ret Mana>Sheth Thorzain>TLO

When does this start, and where?

Best of luck to both teams! I would say that hero has like a 70% chance of beating morrow. Maybe less though because he is playing on like the all time worst pvz map..

Hero vs Morrow is around 50%, i would even go as far as say it's in morrows favor. Morrow has arguably the second best foreigner ZvP after Sen, and factoring the current state of ZvP Morrow has a really really good chance at beating Hero.

Remember that MorroW has sick ZvP too. I think everything will come down to MorroW vs HerO. MaNa should beat Sheth, Ret should be able to take out Hasu, and Thorzain should beat TLO. so if MorroW wins I think mouz got this in the bag.

Why is everyone underestimating Sheth so badly?
Wait how is Ret gonna be able to play this? He's at battle in berlin...

u really underestimate morrow and overrate hero, like everyone in this thread do ^_^
morrow has argubly the best zvp in europe, he just beat puzzle 3-0 the other day.
I'll support Hero in this match.
morrow lost greater spire to zealot drop
hero's multitasking and multiprong harrassment is sooo good :D
hero's play is awesome to watch
Very good play from hero, hope that he can win match 3.
If Hero had MC's macro and had JYP/Sage's builds, he would be the ultimate Protoss. Why does Protoss power always get spread across many people?
Best Protoss by category:
Macro: MC Micro: lots of Toss have good micro. Naniwa has best air unit micro. MC has best forcefields. Huk has best stalkers. Multitask: Hero has the best multipronged harass. Builds: Sage or JYP. MC has best vT builds.
Compare this to Terran
Macro: MVP Micro: MVP Multitask: MMA or MVP Builds: MVP. Best vP builds: Puma
Hero's tactics are a joy to watch. Consistently running to the high ground, using the terrain to funnel Morrow's units, generally good storms covering his back... I really like his play.
Hero's storm is very good. Nice to see it.
Hero's abusing the cliff like a Terran player. Gotta say, his micro is sublime. Inspiring to say the least.

3:52 Sheth takes his nat expo. Mana's nat already half-done.

4:53 Sheth makes a hatch beside the rocks at the third.

17:53 TLO establishes gold and has a huge air force of vikings and BCs.
19:12 Thorzain snipes TLO's BCs. Thorzain assaulting TLO's gold.
21:08 TLO GGs after Thorzain drops his main and attacks his gold again.

4:50 Thorzain going for a starport. TLO adds a second fact.

7:44 Thorzain harrasses with his Banshee, getting 2 mules. Thorzain landing his nat expo.
12:53 Thorzain making 2 more CCs. TLO trying to take his third. Thorzain's drop in the main gets shut down with no damage done.
20:08 Thorzain takes out TLO's forces at TLO's third. GG from TLO.
Ace game incoming, sweet.
4:02 Ret's natural hatch is done. Fact with reactor done for Thorzain. Double hellions coming out. And Xeris, please switch to the production tab, not the APM one.
6:30 Thorzain with 2 reactored facts pumping out hellions. Ret's third is going up.
Thorzain going for double factory reactor hellions, can be extremely brutal and kill a ton of drones.
edit: He did enough damage that he's just sending in more hellions. If the zerg can stabilize it can be awkward to transition out of these hellions
7:58 Thorzain's hellions killed all the drones at Ret's nat.
Thats how u should respond to gready build.
9:30 Ret GGs after mass hellions kill all but 10 drones.
Hellions are great units!
It always surprised me how terrans didn't use then... now they seem to use it everygame, and it almost always pays off.
Xeris...........just fricking switch to the production tab.
3:57 Thorzain going reactored hellions. Ret's nat is up, and making a roach warren.
Thorzain was never threatened there...
8:14 Ret attacks up Thorzain's ramp, but does no damage. Ret now taking down the rocks at the gold.
9:32 Thorzain pushes Ret, and Ret immediately GGs.
So Mouz is third. GZ. And gl to the empire!
Edit: Eeee third game? Whats up...
Gratz Mouz! Ret didn't really play that well these games...
Thorzain is pretty good, too!
Wow Ret's early game ZvT is baaaaad
Kinda disappointing since Ret is usually so much more entertaining.

No, Mouz messed up the order because they sent me the reps. Although I wish I had watched the games before, but either way, congrats to Mouz

Hero should have played the ace match. He's the best player on team liquid.

Anyway, I'm interested on some feedback on my casting. Good / bad ?? Either way, let me know I'd like to hear people's opinions.
I'm not a caster by profession but I do like to try to improve at everything I do so any feedback would be nice

Personally I was too lagged to watch the stream but I just wanna say Happy Birthday Xeris! I know you do a lot for the Starcraft scene and you don't get enough credit for it.
Tbh I liked your commentating a lot. For me the voice is the most important part and yours just suits me well I guess. Yes there may have been some issues regarding lag and so on, but apart from that I enjoyed the stream. Even the lower graphics didn't bother me that much. What I really liked were the opinions you gave on certain plays. Obviously you have a lot of game knowledge and experience, you are a player yourself after all, and the analytical style of commentating rather than a pure play-by-play commentary did it for me. After all I can say, besides the little hickups here and there this has been one of the better casts lately, keep up the good work!
Yea I'm not sure why there was lag... it was fine for like 70% of it and then coming to the ace match it started lagging ;;
The casting could have been better - you very stuttering too much but still it's a good job for a non-professional.
I like that you kept the LR tread - I wasn't able to watch all the games and at least I know what's going on
What's completely unclear from this tread is - Mouz won, that I know - was there a 5th game? Who played? The wins were 2:2. Or maybe the little points counted?
TY

Thorzain won the Acematch against Ret, 2-1.

I thought that too at first, but i figured they didn't want to deal with the possibility of lag over KR-EU or the times were weird for HerO to play.
