As much as I hate the matchup, for educational purposes I wanna see one of the top SlayerS terrans play against GoOdy. | ||

NOTE, THESE ARE NOT THE ACTUAL RESULTS: Game 1 - SlayerS might play Dragon partially because they want to test the waters against aTn and partially because they're aware of what a Dragon circlejerk Reddit is and want to put on an entertaining show. Dragon may have inconsistent results but he is capable of taking on Socke, and littering SCReddit with 35,000 animated GIFs of his victory dance. Game 2 - aTn picked GoOdY for a reason, because the guy is a fucking monster at Mech, and is the only professional with good results on such a style. Also, I believe he took out NesTea 2 - 1 in TSL3. Seeing that they're desperate to use him as they've already lost a game to a part-time SlayerS player, they send on the Panzer Terran. Dragon tries as he might but cannot break the frustrating clusterfuck of tanks, hellions, vikings and thors coming at his natural. He GG's and SCReddit explodes. Game 3 - SlayerS would respond with Cella, another guy without consistent results but willing to put on a show, and also the successful coach of the SlayerS clan. It reaches the late game and a base trade scenario. Cella narrowly loses and ggs. Game 4 - SlayerS realise that shit has just gotten real, and they field Alicia, the former Code S superstar protoss. Despite mech not really having much success vs Protoss, Goody does the unthinkable and accomplishes a TvP victory without using a single biological unit. Game 5 - SlayerS look to YuGiOh to try and get them back into a good state of mind. Despite a few favourable engagements from YuGiOh, GoOdY sneaks a BFH drop and chars his drone line almost instantaneously, whilst seizing the opportunity to perform a 25 tank push on the weakened hivemind. GG. Game 6 - Down 4 - 1, SlayerS look to their saviour, the one and only MMA. Despite a disappointing showing in this GSTL season, he's got his swagger back and beats back GoOdY as if he were almost nothing, avoiding the doom pushes entirely and multi-prong dropping ALL THE THINGS into his base in the midgame. The game turns into a base trade that MMA wins by a wide margin due to his 250 APM and the fact that tanks and hellions can't shoot upwards. Game 7 - Having been denied an all-kill, aTn shit bricks as the Panzer Terran falls. They send out Darkforce, one of Germany's best Zerg players to combat the MMA threat. The result: MMA makes mince meat out of him by staying on the defensive to hold back his ling bane muta pushes and then doing what is possibly the first ever quintruple pronged drop in SC2 history. Darkforce quickly caves in and GGs as his hatcheries and drones melt from the horror of sheer marine drop pwnage. Game 8 - Delphi is sent out to try and combat the MMA threat. Despite trying to maintain a huge macro style, MMA responds with drops everywhere. He holds it off better than Darkforce but still collapses within a matter of minutes. Game 9 - Cloud is aTn's last resort. Both players open 1/1/1 and Cloud luckily picks off MMA's hellion drop before it even has a chance to land. Realising he is behind, MMA opts for a marine hellion SCV all in. Cloud picks it up and builds a bunker but SCV repairs on the hellions combined with marine firepower take out the bunker in the space of around 25 seconds while any SCVs coming to repair the bunker get toasted by hellion splash. GG. | ||
