I wouldn't say he is reliant on it though, it's this sort of thing that makes him a successful player. Finding gaps in his opponents defence whilst being able to defend his home front as well. Amazing hold, despite the fact Rain should've been way ahead. HuK slammed him in the ghost vs HT war.

Sure, but it seems like it's the sort of thing that can be countered easily by an opponent specifically prepared for him. I hope he's come up with variations and such for his GSL season, because he's such a joy to watch right now [confidence off the charts] and I want to see more and see him go far.
I also hope he will continue getting matchups he can crush. Like this guy. Rain has practiced his early game so much that he seems to run out of ideas late...

Not sure if you watched the final engagement but he held like 50% of his army off to one side whilst finessing the hell out of Rain with his micro with HT and stalkers. HuK was clowning around for sure, showing off his unit control.
Anyway, with that HuK nails in his spot at the playoffs, which is awesome

This is nothing random, but very calculated. He is quite experienced at this, did that very often in the past.
Only thing he made wrong is not upgrading mutas further.

i auctually think that if he split up his army both his armies could've easily taken down the pack off mutas, i dont think darkforce could've sniped the assimilators.

He was trapped one side of the map while Darkforce had two more bases, plus Axslav had no idea how many more bases Darkforce actually had.

He couldn't leave his assimilators, but scouted (with his probe) that Darkforce had mining bases. There was nothing that Axslav could do. If he had left his two structures, the mutalisks would have killed them.

When i try to watch this stream, I get the "loading ad" screen and it tells me to disable my ad blocker etc. And it just sits there with a yellow box on the screen. Any suggestions as to what to do? I'm not running an ad blocker on this computer.
edit: Strange - it works fine in IE8 but doesn't work in Firefox. (Don't know why I even have IE8 anymore...)

i'm having the same problem, it's a problem for all of twitch.tv tho, not just NASL, try refreshing, more than once if necessary, and it should work fine, till the next commercial

Yeah it keeps looping to the commercial though, about every 15 seconds. Oh well. At least it's not just me, hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

gretorp has a favourite word, and this word he uses in every game he casts at least 100 times. this word is: "huge"
i dont care.
the most important thing to me is, beeing unbiased for the races, and beeing not annoying.e.g. when painuser starts yelling when it gets a little more intense. this is annoying. and i dont give a shit, whether a caster has gamesense or not.

The most recent drama with col HoN team was as follows, didn't watch last night but it's probably something to do with this.
At Blizzcon, Complexity reps asked Phil from Honcast about how col's HoN team where doing in the NASL. Apparently what he said didn't match up to what the team and players had told the sponsors. Sponsors weren't happy that they had been lied to. Complexity pulled sponsorship from their HoN team (dwi).
Muchos drama ensues because Honcast hasn't had the best relationship with the complexity sponsored team dwi in the past. So some people were unhappy thinking Honcast may have had a hand in the sponsor pulling out and some were unhappy that a sponsor pulled support from a team so suddenly right before Dreamhack Winter over something like this (may have been looking for an excuse to pull out or whatever), and of course lots of trolls jumping in loving the drama.

I think it's shitty whenever a sponsor pulls support from a team, at the end of the day I cheer for and support players not whatever brand is attached to them.

Yes i'm talking about that game. The optimal saturation is 12 scvs on 6 mineral patches. The oversaturation in his main is explained simply by the fact that he had super fast third and left more workers in the main than needed so he can get the optimal count all three bases immediately after the transfer.
That's the problem with all these casters: they notice something that they identify as a "hole" in pro's play but in fact it's a deliberate decision worked out after an hours of practice, not them just being stupid.
All these commentators nitpicking is a reason i unmute only day9 and apollo cause they are only ones who actually understand what they are talking about.

axslav saw the spire..knew their was a spire still..decides to leave it up the whole fucking game so he loses...cmon axslav. I mean darkforce would have had like 20 less mutas or at least rebuild the spire.
