TL got outpicked tbh.

It's like watching Proleague finals all over again... losing to a team with 1 top player. -_-

If EG only has 1 top player, than TL has 0. Seriously, EG's top 3 players are better than anyone on TL.

Both hero and ret are better than Idra - Puma and Huk are about equal to hero

Ret > Idra?

Umm... what?

Idra 3-0 White-Ra
White-Ra 3-2 Ret

At ASUS recently. Idra also went on to win the whole thing (beating Sjow/White-Ra/Select) while Ret went home with no prize money, if I recall correctly.

EG clearly way better team than TL, even without IdrA. sup talin lol.

Puma is by far the best player of both teams.
If EG was clearly better it wouldnt come down to an ace match. Would have loved to see Ret fight puma. We have seen puma take down herO enough imo.

PuMa bases so much on aggression, I think Hero had a better shot vs PuMa. With Puma vs Ret, Ret is already down 0-1 pretty much due to his dislike of Xel'Naga Caverns, which PuMa would pick.

Every ace match its HerO vs Puma, every ace match puma takes hero down. If herO takes a game puma will just 1/1/1 him the next 2 times! Id like to see Ret or Sheth try and take on puma for once. Puma obliterates every protoss in his way. And since TL has no top tier terran atm it has to come from the swarm!

You would assume neither team would know which player the other would send out...

It was highly possible Liquid thought EG might send out HuK who despite winning MLG against MC seems to have some real problems in PvP, hence them sending out HerO.

Unfortunately EG sent out PuMa who has some immense TvP and that was about the game.

Puma > Sheth (Gonna be the dealbreaker if Liquid wanna win this before the acematch, Sheth can do it. Giving him a 40% chance of winning)

Demuslin < Ret (This is the match that EG can win if they wanna close it out before an acematch, I can see Demuslin upseting Ret. Though I will put my money on Ret)

Machine < Hero (Nothing to say, Hero is going to Roflstomp Machine)

Huk > Haypro (Huk should take this game with ease)

The acematch will depend a lot on who EG decides to use.
Liquid will use Hero and if EG responds with Huk I'll give it to Liquid but if they decide to use Puma then it's 50/50 imo.

Overall I think TL got the upperhand, they are doing amazing in all the teamleagues I've seen them in so I hope that they can keep it up!

nearly 100% correct ... impressive

Even Sheth was (much) closer to taking down Puma than Hero, I can't see how Hero would possibly have a better chance in

a) PvT
b) vs Puma's TvP

Sheth is different from Ret though, I could've actually seen Sheth being the Ace, he beat HuK at BlizzCon qualifiers and played PuMa close in the first set.

Ret does not deal with aggression well, and he is absolutely horrendous (like Idra) on ZvT Xel'Naga Caverns.

Sir, I don't quite I agree with you there. You're talking about the best foreign zergs that is also one of the best ZvTers and a zerg that isn't even top 3 of his race in Europe.

As much as I love Ret, he is most certainly not better than IdrA, their results speak for themselves especially when you compare how they play against top koreans

How do you objectivly say that? Idra has by far better results than ret in general, i can kinda get idra, huk and hero being about equal, i'd probably put the edge with idra seeing his recent form.

Puma just destroys protoss in general, i dont think he's ever lost to hero.
