ASUS ROG Stars Invite, the 10 000 dollar Starcraft 2 tournament in Helsinki, Finland starting at 4th of November, adds oGs.SK.MC and dignitas.SjoW to their roster in which now stands six major, well known names while two more remain unrevealed.
In less than three weeks away the ASUS ROG Stars Invite is getting closer while the remaining invites are getting fewer. Today, we are proud to announce our first non-European player Jang "oGs.SK.MC" Min Chul and our first Terran contestant Jeffrey "dignitas.SjoW" Brusi.
MC, by far the most accomplished Protoss in StarCraft 2 so far judging by prize winnings. For this multiple time GSL champion, one expression and one attitude are enough: the stoic face of destruction, and the assumption of absolute superiority no matter who the adversary is, conveyed through his trademark pre-game banter. His proclaimed career goal is to earn a million dollars in prize winnings, and he’s well on his way to achieve it - even his momentary descent to GSL Code B has been nullified by his great run at MLG Orlando this past weekend and his Code S spot reclaimed. November will show how much the ASUS ROG Stars Invite will help him on becoming a millionaire.
It’s sjowtime, so let’s get this SjoW on the road! This endless source of puns and Terran punishment is back from Korea and in better shape than ever. Many were surprised by his early return and forfeiting of his earned GSL Code A slot, while some are just happy that the talent pool is spread more outside Korea as well. Besides his GSL visit SjoW hasn’t made excessive amounts of noise lately, though that is more due to the overall skill rising in the StarCraft 2 scene instead of a slump on his part. The sjow must go on!
More details about the tournament and the final two invited players will be announced soon. Get ready.

mc looks like "u fucked with me, now you die" ^^
Go MC win ESWC and ASUS!!! Then flaunt the check in Huk's face :DDD.
Go MC to get to finals and get beat by his apprentice Huk again.
Awwww Yea!! Going to be awesome!
Going to be a beastly tournament.
Wooh sjow :D My favourite non-liquid player :D
Invited players so far:
DIMAGA
elfi
White-Ra
Ret
MC
SjoW
Now all we need is someone to represent NA (IdrA?) and a Korean terran to legitimize the tournament (Bomber/MMA?). I wish...
although im happy that MC will be there, i hope he doesnt exaggerates the number of foreign tournaments again before his gsl slump began
gogo mc & White ra
Idra and Jinro for the last 2 spots. Calling it out now.
Going to be awesome to see these beast live ^^

really high level tournament but MC will take it if the last invites are not better than the rest I think
Nice. I don't think any of those players can compete with MC but PvP post-patch is pretty strange and WhiteRa's special tactics + love for risky expands might be troublesome, and elfi is prety good PvP too. Dimaga is also very good but I don't think on MC's level.

It's sjowtime y'all. It's also nice that more events are finally recognising sjow for the kickass terran that he is. Expecting last 2 to be a korean terran and stephano.
MC is coming for ya! btw no word on when and who yet?

Im worried about MC starting to go to all these tournaments again. Didn't he say it made it hard for him to keep up with practice with traveling so much? And then he completely fell out of GSL right after. Now he finally seems to be playing well again, and he's entering in all these tournaments. Don't get me wrong, he's a great personality and I like watching him play, but I don't want his GSL performance to suffer from all of this. Great additions to the tournament though. Both of these guys are really playing well lately.

Of course MC goes :B Cant wait to see him!
Cool stuff, now they just need to invite IdrA.
MC hwaiting!

ThorZaIN and Stephano please! <3
Yeah, Thorzain please!
It's Sjowtime!
Wow this is really shaping up to be an insane tournament
MC killing! Such an added value to any tournament really <3
MC why you not stay in Korea and practice? You are going to drop to code B again lol
Really need a player to represent NA for it to be perfect, if not the typical Huk/Idra, then one of the up and comers like Gatored or Kawaiirice,

Yeah, adding Thorzain and a KR Terran would be perfect.
I hope his stay in Korea paid off
With the current lineup, I'd like to see White-Ra over Ret in the finals. Should be a good cup.
Nice! Hoping for ThorZaiN to be one of the final two. Seriously, any European tournament that does not include him after his decision to stay in Europe is just... meh.
I'd imagine stephano doesn't want to attend to everything? Also there's chance the invites were decided before stephano broke through (eventhough I'd have invited him month ago too). I doubt there'll be another korean, eventhough korean T would fit in good. But I'd also guess it's thorzain for terran, and last one being some NA - idra and huk must have been asked so possibly one of them.
pls invite socke pllllllllllllllllllllllllllls

really pulling for MC, i wanna see him winning some stuff so he isnt forgotten about again like the last month and a half or so
Major/ThorZain/Demuslim and GuMiho/Curious/MVP/NaDa would be perfect picks

Stephano in that case. Isn't Satiini really bad in comparison?
