I think Xel is bad for both zerg and protoss in the current metagame, it makes things a bit weird but there are no glaring map imbalances that make it greatly skewed in one direction so most tournaments keep it because it is considered the "standard" 1v1 map and it has always been there

Tight play by HuK, Tastosis hit the nail on the head when they pointed out July's strategy to be too one dimensional.
