To be precises
Game 1 WBC Proxy DTs MKP, MKP holds and kills him with a counter attack Game 2 WBC 4gate Prisms MKP, FFs on the ramp all day long MKP loses main WBC wins Game 3 MKP 2 rax reactor first deadling devastating damage to WBC wave after wave, killed him on the second timing attack
Might be worth noting, for people who didn't watch, that WBC should have won game 1 easily. 3 dts unchecked for almost a full minute, and goes for addons/depots the entire time. Well, I guess a tech lab is almost worth killing infinite scv's/marines, right? ^^
Still happy mkp won ofc, just annoys me seeing such subpar play, even though I know he's not a pro really lol.

tbh tri was never good
Ppl hype up way too many players so prematurely.(A lot thanks to IdrA). Silver, Cruncher, Trimaster. lol yet they have never won any major tourneys.
You don't have to win a tournament to be considered good. Nobody said any of those guys were incredible, just that they are promising up and comers. And they are, except Silver.
Idra just needs to beat TLO and he's very unlikely to get MKP in his Pool. MKP is the only player in the Open that can 5-0 a Pool.
We all really want Jinro to make Pools, as we get a Jinro vs Idra rematch! That'd be awesome.
Pool B:
Bomber is winning this group. This is MKP's most likely group to land into. Which, while I think MKP can take Bomber (2-1 series), I don't know if MKP can 5-0 the entire Pool. Pool B is far & away the hardest of the lot.
Pool C:
Ret just needs to beat Rain. That puts him 4-0 and the winner of Alive & Inori should end up here. Ret actually beat Alive @ IPL 3 and I think he's playing better right now anyway.
Pool D:
Huk has Hero to play still. This group is *anything* but set. Huk, Hero, July or the player from the Open bracket (winner of STC vs Stephano, most likely) could all take this. If Huk beats Hero, though, he likely comes out of this group.
For the Championship Quarters, it's A vs D and B vs C.
We're on track for: Idra vs Huk & Bomber vs Ret. I soooooooooo want that.

Being that Cruncher just went inactive, I'd say he isn't much of a promising up and comer anymore either
Bracket four is interesting because by all means SaSe should win. He has the edge against anyone he meets and is very underrated. But if Jinro plays well he can certainly take it. Trimaster also, as upsets tend to follow him around. Edit: litterally two posts below I found out Trimaster is out.
I love, how you don´t even mention HasuObs, who is Sase´s next oppenent. Both belong to the absolute best Protoss players in Europe and in a PvP anything can happen on this level, especially if its only a Bo3. I do however believe, that the winner of this game will probably go into pool play, because I judge their PvT over Jinro´s TvP by a fair margin.

You're probably right, it could be a 50/50, previously I'd bet on SaSe against most in PvP, even Koreans, but he has been crying about the matchup a bit lately since the patch, since his deadly 4gate isn't as good and it's a bit coinflippy in his opinion. Both should prove too strong for Jinro, especially SaSe since he's so aggressive.

Why do you think MKP is unlikely to go into Group A? My predictions to advance are:
These 4 are the favourites. If these 4 do come out, then MKP goes straight into Pool A. In fact, the only way MKP won't make it is if a higher seed comes out (the only ones with a realistic chance are Jinro/Vibe) or MKP doesn't come out of the open bracket. Aside from that, there is a very very high chance MKP heads over to Pool A.
