For all I care they point the livecam on the DRG monitor.
No it doesn't. It really doesn't. The cameras not moving.

It also looks like US infrastructure is lagging a decade. 1,5M up? Are you guys still on copper wires or something? haha yes. most of americans still have copper connections luckily i have fios Our telecommunications corporations don't have incentive to upgrade the infrastructure. In most residences you only have one option for high-speed internet if you don't want 768kbps DSL or super-laggy satellite or wireless internet. what's your point? he asked if most americans are on copper and i said yes. nothing more nothing less I was just explaining the situation to the Europeans out there and why are infrastructure is so bad.
well im american dude. live in New jersey

Sangho made it the farthest, don't think that qualifies him as the best.

Not to mention that on crappy connections(like mine) and possibly that venue's, upload absolutely kills latency. My average latency doubles by the time I hit 50% upload, and maxed out, it's an absolutely unplayable 500ms+. Obviously for a professional event having players play at more than 100ms ping is generally considered unacceptable.

Esports tourneys in NA = ridiculous. its always the same huge problems. No clue why they dont learn from their mistakes. I mean isnt it possible to find 1 location in the US where they have 2 big fibre cables?

It's baffling to me when someone calls a player that's been in Code S for the last half year "not very good." I guess some people have different standards... he's not very good compared to other korean players, i dont think he makes people scared to play him, like a real top code S player would. That =/=bad. And by other Korean players you can't mean more than a couple dozen. There's what, a few hundred pros and semi-pros in SC2? Calling players who aren't the very best "bad" just makes you sound like a prick.
i said not very good, i did not say bad. i could say that he's probably the worst of the 4 koreans sent to IEM NY, altho i think it's a toss up between him and fd, TOP does however play terran, so he's got that going for him. of course in the overall scheme of things, sangho's a good player, and i did clarify by saying relative to other top code S korean players.

He is one of the top five NA Protoss in my opinion, not that being top five NA Protoss says a whole lot in terms of ability to post tournament results given the current state of the game.

It also looks like US infrastructure is lagging a decade. 1,5M up? Are you guys still on copper wires or something? While it looks like bad organisation, i really doubt that's the case... I mean they (ESL) have hosted like hundreds of tournaments and should know about what can happen >.< But what do we know .. well guys just look at events like that in usa, they almost always are delayed by hours dou to internet problems or so

MLG showed the world how to host an NA tournament. The sad truth, Sat. trucks. Our internet infrastructure is apparently terrible so you have to budget the extra $ for the sat trucks.

my advice to all who are waiting for the stream and the actual action to start would be: if you can chill, chill
