Too bad they have to meet in the Ro8. That's easily a finals quality match. =/

I think it was generally agreed that Bomber was the favorite to take the series (I bet on MVP). Prior to last season, the last televised series of MVP vs. Nestea was in January. Something to consider. Except that code A final at the time didn't matter much, neither online tournaments for Mvp. But every encounter NesTea and Mvp had was important : gainward tournament 1st place and GSL ro4, ro16 of code S. The thing anyways it not the record between NesTea and Mvp, just that Mvp is clearly a level above NesTea ESPECIALLY in TvZ. About his games lost against DRG, it's online etc but the funniest is that SuperNova asked Mvp how to beat DRG probably after Mvp lost to him in AOL, and still won with his help :D Yea exactly, Bomber's wins weren't quite as important (except the one in the gstl), which is why I figured MVP was going to take that series. However, when you just say it's 7-3 without considering the conditions it still sounds nice. I think that was why people had the misconception that Bomber was the favorite going into their set. Now, Nestea is the underdog this time, but just like with bomber I take the 8-1 lead MVP has with a grain of salt. A massive amount of time has passed between most of those wins and a lot of them occurred when the map pool was dogshit for zerg and before a few key patches. Mvp won recently 2-0 on belshir beach and daybreak. Belshir if I recall correctly it was a bunker block that NesTea didn't defend so it doesn't tell us much on how it will go today, but on daybreak (dunno if it's T or Z favored?) it was quite one sided. And Mvp just seem invincible in vT/vZ in important games. But yeah since the mappool is not that good for him it will be hard, and I wanna see NesTea as a vT boss again so I would be pleasantly surprised by a NesTea win ALL the games of mvp vs nestea have been close with mvp barely winning most of them...barely. Are you sure? The games he played against DRG or July@metalopolis (mlg for drg and gsl for july) seemed close because Mvp plays really really safe against such players but it was kinda one sided. I don't quite well remember his game on daybreak against NesTea but maybe you think he was barely winning when in fact he was never in the position of losing

I admire your fanboyism but if you think the game on Daybreak was close, that is totally wrong. Mvp outmacroed and outplayed him convincingly.

I think Nestea vs MVP on daybreak was pretty even. In like the last 5 minutes Nestea went for kind of a counterattack and right clicked like 60+ lings on a planetary and lost all of them... I think if he took those lings into the main with the rest of his forces that game could have ended differently.

nestea vs mvp on daybreak was close with it going back and forth..I think they both were low on mins then mvp started sniping hatches..One way to beat zerg..just snipe hatches with those 3/3 bio

"Oh oh oh! What is up? I'M NESTEAAAA!!!"
I think Mvp is the favored player here, but rooting for Nestea. Will be an epic series, nonetheless!

Its a shame that sc2 at the highest level is ruled by two players..The sAviOr/flash of sc2

Hype hype!!! This may as well be the finals! I am interested to see what nestea has been hiding for mvp. Hes lost so many times to him that he must have a secret strategy ready for him this time.
