hopefully nestea doesn't botch the next game. If nestea lives on this gsl lives on with probably more awesome zvt. If not, MVP is just going to shit on terrans and get his fourth. :/

Well he had enough corruptors to take out the vikings, but the PDD changed it all.
He wasnt hiding vikings at all, he barely had any until broodlords. He just had the mass starports to quickly turn 'hardly any' into 'enough'.

Agreed. they're on the same team, so it's basically pure mind games, which can lead to messy games sometimes. Kinda reminds me of ForGG vs Jaedong.

We did see it. It was extreamly lopsided in MVP's favor
???what?
Yeah, it was a smallerish tournament around christmas, super stacked tho. MVP won 3-0, 2 rax every game pretty much and nestea doing really bad attempts at baneling busts.
This was while zergs had no fucking clue how to beat 2 rax.
1. Losing an overlord in the first five minutes is terrible. Not only does it supply block the Zerg, it slows down the second queen timing by a lot. Losing any sort of supply building/unit this early instantly turns a 5:5 matchup into a 7:3 matchup.
2. MVP killed so many zerglings early on with his hellions that Nestea was never able to build enough drones. MVP started his 3rd base well before Nestea did.

As Jinro said, NesTea read MVP's gameplan wrong. He was preparing for a mass thor timing push. That's why he got out a shit ton of roaches, banelings, infestors, and upgrades. It delayed his hive tech by quite a bit. That gave all the time in the world for MVP to take more bases and get a shit ton of vikings out.

Its not Stephano hate, its idiotic posting hate.
So far the only idiotic posts are from the ones saying "yeah Destiny's been doing this too".
This build with the macro hatch and the ling upgrades, is exactly his build and I haven't seen anyone else do it this way.
Only people with a very superficial view will say "other people use ling infestor", it's not about the unit composition...
are you sure? I remember watching dimaga does this quite a long time ago and spanishwa but not macro hatch all the times
Nestea hasn't won a major series against MVP yet, his defense is just too strong. Nestea probably could've won the game if had just made a few more infestors and pushed in with those lings but Nestea will go for a long macro game 9 times out of 10 because he's Nestea. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he can pull it off in game 5.
Nestea could have won that game if he just infested spamm'd the natural+run lings in, but he didn't realize it. I think he out-thought himself that game or respected IMMVP too much to realize he had nothing there.

true, he only had 3 or 5 when the broodlords morphed in.
