this was exactly what was needed now when this ridiculous mantra or myth about training in korea is touted everywhere. if there's something wrong with your training or play, just fix it where you live.

unfortunately, many people will come up with every possible excuse to delegitimize stephano's victory instead of learning from it.

edit1: the post above me says he actually beat way more koreans. good

Millenium is most definitely a known team though

WHOA! just woke up in EU, and saw the results, i've been a fan for stephano for a while and thought he might have a chance... But really? 4-0'ing the finals? and only dropping a single map against STC...

Well played sir...

BTW, for those whining about him not beating top Kor ; have a look at the qualifiers 2 and 3.
(anypro, MarineKing, MMA, Revival, Puzzle)

Ok they are not Nestea or Mvp. But we will have a chance to see him against them at BlizzCup in Dec ! Cannot wait !

Gratz to Stephano, nice to see a foreigner win a tournament with Koreans in it.

So after Idra's victory at IEM and Stephano's victory at IPL3, zerg is not so bad after patch right?

Give it a couple more weeks for the Koreans to figure things out. MLG will be a roflstomp for the Koreans agains. My guess is they'll get 8 out of the top 10 spots.

Holy shit. My friend has been touting this guy's horn for a while, but I've shrugged it off each time, saying, "lolnotnestea." Now, I will pay attention.

Is luckys zvz really bad or stephano's really good because that was a really one sided final and I didn't get to see any other matches with lucky he clearly had beat some great players so was it nerves or what?

To Americans saying this was his first event, it wasn't. He took 3rd at assembly and played at homestory.

good job stephano...

don't quit.. you have proven your worthiness

I wanted to see a MMA vs Stephano.. with MMA winning in 7. Whatever...

Obviously, stephano is really smart.. he can make a whole lot of money is SC2 in the future. He doesn't need to go to school.

ah, I made a mistake? okay, let's see, I fix this

french master series second place,
homestory beat jinro and white-ra in lower bracket and was knocked out by MC,
assembly, got 3rd. tried to avoid playing sen - won. nice, nice. overall beat some europeans
IEM, eliminated in group stage. achievement: taking a game off Puma, nice

yeah, not very impressing, is it? even if it was that's not the point. it was a question of his image as a player, fanboy.

I don't know why I bother answering you
