going muta ling leaves him open to timings... but after that giant lead he got at the start he was perfectly safe to do that.

Is there actually one BoX where Puma DID not 1-1-1 at least one game in TvP ? I dont think so.
Sad for Hero who was a beast on this one.
yes NASL finales did you watch those games ? He 1-1-1 at least 2 of the 3 games he won -_- he didn't 1-1-1 at all, get your facts straight. LOL he did 1-1-1 2 out of 3 games played, it's a best of 5 not best of 7 like someone said, did you even watch the game, PUMA is the most disgusting player ever, he always throw 1-1-1 in hard situation. NO HE DIDNT 1-1-1 IN THE NASL FINALS GODAMMNIT He DID 1-1-1 on Gulch. The 1-1-1 is not an all-in push. It simply means going fast starport on 1 rax. He identified a situation where the push was likely to fail, and took a hidden second expansion. We are talking about the 1/1/1 push here, genius, not banshee harrass. /facepalm Terrans are not allowed to even make a banshee for harrass, this is 1-1-1 all-in IMBA (which is exactly what PuMa did in two games in the NASL finals). Both of the games ended up being macro games, no one at the time cried imbalance or OMG NOOB 1-1-1. NO, Puma did not 1-1-1 ALL IN in the NASL Finals, what is wrong with everyone? I think someone here is mixing up the NASL Finals with the IEM Finals. (Both between MC and Puma) In the NASL Finals, Puma did NOT 1-1-1 any of the games as I remember it, and won 4-3. In the IEM Finals, Puma did 1-1-1 2 out of 3 games and won 3-0, the first game of that series was the most disgusting win I've ever seen by the way lol (He failed his 1-1-1, then 1-1-1'd again a few minutes later and still won somehow, so retarded :/)

Go white ra! Normally don't root against zergs but white ra's so good and playing so good at this event :D

Well, 4 gate warp prism can sometimes work against 1-1-1....

White ra can deifnetly beat Puma.

Mana in particular comes to mind. 2-0 puma at assembly and 1-1 in eg master league (beat puma at the ace match).

he sent two probes to scout for it but got denied.
theres no point preparing for something you haven't scouted, its a waste of minerals if slush is playing normal.
he had to take a risk, either blindly put down two cannons and be behind or hope slush wasn't roach rushing him.
what other choice does he really have?

Far position should be pretty good for WhiteRa. Slush definitely knows how to macro, but I think he has the edge when he plays a low econ game as he seems more comfortable than his opponent in that case.

nearly? slush won after one fight. therefore, he didn't need to do those things apparently? yeah?

Though honestly he probably could've won a lot earlier with a round two of roach ling. Or by going drop.
As long as he didn't mess up he would've won no matter what, it's just that pooling up 1500/1500 for mutas is a dangerous move. It was a good thing he was able to just do a giant killing blow, otherwise against a smart protoss with good positioning like Whitera, those mutas would not have been able to do much harass.
