For those wondering about the unusual second round matches, the current bracket is incorrect. The first round matches are all correct, but the seeding is incorrect. Most of the potential second round matches are incorrect. The correct bracket will go up in a few minutes. | ||

So stop this "Poor hero" crap. If he's good enough to win, then he will win. He already has $1000 so far anyway. Props to IPL for spreading out the prize money. Unlike Dreamhack where they'll only award the top 3 or something, lol. | ||

Dreamhack often has heavy invite based tournaments though, which I don't really agree with anyway. I prefer qualifiers, but when you're invite heavy it makes more sense to be top heavy in prizes so you're not giving out free money. Basically, in the IPL the 8 invites got a free $1000, it's not a huge deal though since it's just 8 players. Your point still holds though, ultimately Hero would have only gotten one round further before having to face an equally dangerous opponent. | ||
