First of all puma didn't qualify for any of the qualifiers so this system assumes that he is a weaker player and he did indeed participate in it. The other thing is puma is considered top4 within this system.
In fact if u look at puma's results he lost to idra in iem china, never managed to get far in the ipl qualifiers and idra is in pool play, nothing stupid about it.

The groups all had a $1500 prize pool themselves in addition to better seeding for the Ro32. No one in the top 16 gets knocked out in the first 2 days.
Now elimination starts.
