I think you are the one who doesn't understand.
1) White-ra's attack didn't trade cost efficiently enough, and was behind in supply when Idra left
2) White-ra wouldn't have enough gas to get that super ball again
3) Mothership dead, along with few colossus, hard to remake
4) Idra had enough minerals to start fresh bases of his own

archon toilet still works, just not as good as it used to
after the vortex ends the units still clump up more than they normally would, even with the invulnerability
im a master toss and i use archon toilet every lategame against zerg. its better than storm because storm does not counter broodlords, but mothership+archons does counter broodlords
however zerg can beat it with a few ultralisks and mass roaches. no toss ground army can compete with that

I dunno if Idra knew how many bases, production and resources White-Ra had but he was dead for sure so good call there.

This isn't even supposed to work anymore. It was nerfed because of this exact thing happening and it was deemed to powerfull. With NP range to 7, fungal growth nerfed to 40 damage i dont see how zerg is supposed to beat the endgame protoss army?
Is was very well played by White-Ra but... i dont really see what IdrA did wrong there, his army just... died and there was no answer.
