I personally hope that gsl just trys to send the best players with focus on those who compete in the gsl and not just trys as hard as possible to get foreigners into this tournament. I think they should keep an eye on maintaining balance. If 8 Koreans make the cut and one drops out, I'm not opposed to choosing a non-Korean player as long as he has the qualifications/achievements. and again, there's lots of possibilities to use legitimate results as a decider: 1st place MLG 2011 ranking 1st place GSTL individual player 1st place IEM Guangzhou 1st place NASL 1st place ESCW 2nd place IEM New York 2nd place Blizzcon 3rd place MLG Providence 4th place GSL

Great props to GomTV and Blizzard ![]() World cups mostly invite maximum 1 national team or at least have guaranteed participants from multiple countries. This will most likely be Korean only tournament. The difference from standard GSL is that good players stuck in code A or B have a chance to participate.

It's meant to be the big final tournament of the year and all that good stuff. They(hopefully) bring players from all around the world, or maybe just korea, together. It sounds to be a major setup with more than just the games and this is what they bring: 68.000.000 KRW. They ought to do better. But what the hell, not going to stop me from watching this epic piece of sh*t...

I think it shows the total points, not just those from 2011. Hence why Nestea's first at all, because Mvp is notably above him in 2011 ranking points. Mvp's points are almost the same as they are in 2011 points (because he only got ro32 and ro16 in the open seasons).
