It's a terrible spectator sport. You really have to be a player to understand what the hell is going on and actually enjoy it. Same goes for HoN/LoL. Yeah, same goes for SC2, and counter-strike, and soccer, and football, and baseball and any other spectator sport. Dunno why people are always so negative on here =/ Not being negative... I love dota.
But dota is completely different as a spectator sport. SC2 you can get the jist of it and start watching with a few hours of reading or having someone explain things to you.
That is impossible with dota. You absolutely need to understand most heroes and their spells to enjoy watching it. You simply can't just be a dota viewer. You have to play. That isn't true for most spectator sports (SC2, CS, Baseball, etc.).

Yeah the crowd is really big as they held the event inside a very big games convention.
That gives a lot of visibility to esports (and attracted a ton of curious people), but it sucked really hard yesterday where next to no game was casted on stage, and we had to sit on the floor in front of screens with first person vision of players without any caster.

It was actually even better to stand just behind the player when possible, MC and MKP were close to each other so you could see them trolling europeean ladder with their plat account (MC really have to improve his TvT), and MKP proxy 2 rax sjow
edit : is it me or the official stream is off ?

Doa & Khaldor have a really good rapport together.

marineking stealing stephano's color.

Agreed, they are an amazing casting duo and even with so much downtime between games they are enjoyable to listen to. Also damn that short is baller.

Are they casting Grubby vs Mana afterwards? or is any other stream casting that at the same time?
