I'd put him as favorite of the group, or maybe 2nd (I dont know what his PvP and PvZ are like but his PvT is very strong so Im just judging based off that). For those of us who have no idea who Jim is really, what are you basing this on? Has he performed well in online competitions outside of the China scene? I'm just wondering if he plays a dominant play-style in China that might not translate so well to the international scene or whether he can adapt to the differences. This my be a moot point if he has international competitive experience though. Good ol' stage fright can explain a lot of the sloppiness, though in general I think their styles are adapted to KR/TW/CH ladder play, since that's where they practice.
I hope you're right, I always feel compelled to root for the hometown players at least a little bit =D

He qualified for IEM New York (I think it was New York?) but couldnt go because he's too young to get a Visa to the US or something like that... IIRC he just barely didnt qualify from the MKP/LoveCD/DaisyPrime/JIM group at CPL, and he plays on the Korean ladder so hes used to playing international players.

IdrA vs elfi should be starting as soon as the side stream goes online, which should have happened 30 min ago according to schedule. I hope the games are being delayed for us, alternatively we'll have to wait and see.
There will be a restream afterwards anyways, so hopefully people can catch up if they miss anything.

Jinro fighting! I really hope u and Idra can make out...
Personally I wish Jim but this is first time in Global tournament. He's pretty good and talented, but it's really the death group. We Chinese are all busy blaming our players on the native forums coz they didnt do good int the first day
