This tournament will be not only romanians, there will be invitationals for many other countries. It's going to be interesting, I hope I can get in at the second romanian qualifier or the open bracket. >,<

i think it'd be better for just romanians, it will help develop the scene more ... just my opinion .

Nah. Romanian people are very lazy. I also can't put up a good show with players that can not turn down the "going out and drink beer" than play in the league. Happend a lot of times in the first Season.
I had 1 day when only 1 players showed up. A ZvZ. By minute `35 (after we started @ `15) we were over with the stream.
And on the last week, on group B, when I started the cast I had 0 games because 2 withreawed (1 with good reason), 1 was sleeping and one ... forghot exactly.
My goal is to rise the EU scene while also doing stuff for Romanians. But it's not worth to do an event and get 30-50 viewers.

Today we have Bulgary, tomorrow Germany then Italy then this Saturday we have the Open Qualifier.

This is pretty nice. I'm from Romania. I play for fun (i have to work, so not enough time), but i'm happy to see there are Starcraft 2 Tournaments in Romania. Keep un the good work! Congrats!

According to their website (http://league.sc2ro.ro/s2/groups.html), it will be HasuObs.
I wonder why this event is listed as "misc" at liquipedia, because I think, it belongs to "major tournaments", if you look at the line-up (and the >1500$ prize pool):
Dimaga, Kas, Cloud, HasuObs, MoMan, BeastyQT, NightEnD, Adelscott, Deathangel, BlinG, Stareagle, Jimpo, Seiplo, Naugrim, Pomi...
If I would be in your position, it would be more self-confident, because this tournamet looks very good.

I placed the tournament to "misc" section because I didn't knew if it counted as "major" tournament.
I'm trying to be more confident but it's not that easy I told myself many times that I'm just going to ignore the viewers count and try to give 110% but it's hard, especially when you cast alone.
|
Considering how hard Pet has worked to get this kind of prizes and this players is a real shame more people don't join in. I think and i hope is only because they don't know about it so if you like it and want to see more nice matches like this please tell your friends, post it on your facebook wall and stuff like that.
