Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.

Pretty please, with minerals on top.

Terrible games.

Well I see what you're saying, but in a way they were very exciting as well. Depends on what you like I guess. If you want to watch flawless play, go watch something else, but if you like tense games and wtf-moments, then definately watch them. Skip the first though, that was horrible.

after 1 year of hurdles the zerg race is finally able to take on the protoss, 20 terrans about 7 zergs and about 5 protoss in code S i believe.... for blizzard that means....nerf the zerg. ? wtf ? Im so sad for mc, he is a cool ballsy dude. But with the amount of money hes made, he has an excuse for his bad play. Im sure when the money starts running low he will come back and start owning !!

as long as he keeps going to foreign events that'll never happen...

he's still better than almost every foreigner.

no he is not (sadly)

So who is better?

Huk won Dreamhack and Homestory sure but that was three months ago. These days he loses to all sorts of random foreigners and stays in Code S on the virtue of always picking really easy groups every season then losing to the first good player he meets.

Puzzle has won nothing at all and looks very middle of the road.

Hongun is always a laugh but he's so gimmicky and wins games mostly of the back of being unpredictable.

Genius is plain bad, he survived in Code S last season by Void Ray cheesing every game.

Naniwa has no results in months and months.

Tassadar, JYP and others are still messing about in Code A.

MC at least made the NASL and IEM finals even if it was by beating foreigners.

There's just no good Protoss players right now.

If you were to list to current best 20 players in Sc2 right now I wouldn't choose a single Protoss.

White-Ra am cry.

Mana has also had a good run lately. Hero as well.

If you don't play in GSL you aren't worth mentioning in the best of anything. Mana and White Ra are not even close to Code S level. Hero is playing in Code A for the first time this season and has no results about Koreans.

I strongly disagree.

Fortunately you're wrong.

Just like you can't be a top basketball player without playing in the NBA or a top footballer without playing in Italy, Spain, Germany or England.

If you don't play in GSL you do not belong in a discussion of top players.

Okay, I really want the foreigners to win, but everytime I liquibet against them because I always think they'll lose, they win. So should I just always vote against the foreigners so they get Code S?

Anyways, glad to see Select and Sjow win, sad, though, that Alicia, Maka, and MC got knocked down to Code B. Oh and also, go sC!

Though I would say that WhiteRa was at Code S level a while back, but maybe not anymore. But like you said we can't say unless he goes there to play himself.

It's not worth it just to see those two series

Sase and Huk are still up. It's worth it if any of em gets real far.

as well as Naniwa. So buy it

qft. I hope they don't pull a sheth. who are their next opponents anyways? they showed some solid games and might have a decent chance at advancing to the ro8. up and downs will be quite hard though. :-/

Pele never played outside of Brazil. Top players are the ones who play at their best on an international stage, not in a particular league.

/offtopic.

The Brazilian league was amongst if not the worlds best when Pele played in it, although half their season was just the Rio State league.

Comparison is also dumb because The World Cup was the highest level of play (not really anymore). International tournaments are nowhere near as good in Sc2 as GSL. Therefore GSL is what matters.

Again the Olympics in Basketball don't mean shit because they're not high level, the NBA is what matters.

This is an incredibly short-sighted argument. GSL isn't the measuring stick of whether a player is good or not, the measuring stick is whether they can play well against others of top caliber.

This is like saying PuMa is nothing because he was never in GSL but still managed to kill MC, July, Nada and Sheth, all of whom have been in GSL.

Pele played in NA, but he demanded such a high salary that the entire league collapsed... Just sayin' continue on with whatever
