Might have misunderstood but to me it looked like ThorZaIN pulled back on his own when dts came, at least it looked like that on the minimap.

What an opening series, though.

Gotta hand it to TotalBiscuit. He is by far the best caster when it comes to introducing the players..

Let's cross our fingers that we get another game that doesn't go into Ghost

I just don't understand it, he plays such a measured style most of the time, even in this game he realised the possibilty of a counter was high so left a siege tank and a clump of marines back to defend. I just can't understand how he didn't account for a dark shrine somewhere ><
He did though. He scanned, didn't see anything, but still dropped an engin bay and saved scans knowing dts could screw him. Huk was simply a narrow step ahead of him, something that happens from time to time when games get to that level of chaos.

I hate when my expo gets blocked.

Thorzain is so far doing the same build he did in game 1 on antiga

Correction: thorzain won because he picked terran and 1 base allined. It is ridiculous how many variations there exist of 1 abse terran allin. all require a different response and way more skill to hold off then to execute.

Was the "don't smoke" chat right after Apollo mentioned needing a cigarette after that match? (OMG they can hear the commentators!)

Because units can go through forcefields up the ramp!!!!! Tanks outrange Immortals and Stalkers? No way he would have got vision up the ramp (maybe one scan)
He had 2 saved up when he finally moved his orbital. All he needed to do was inch his tanks in, seige to deny FFs and aggression against his marines on the ramp, and wait.

You can tell by the fact both players still had a sizable army in the retreat across. You don't break a bunkered in tank/marine contain and have both players with the majority of their army still there...
Macro time, woo!
